you're sure that you had lens opening at the same spot? the catta is a longer lens. Update. The 35mm prime Flange to Lens is 3.94" compared to 18MM to 35MM zoom is 7.38" which will definately make up that difference in look at 35mm between the two DZOFilm lenses t2.9 if you look at blacks and 255 white they are the same exposure just Kelvin is way off between the lenses why didn't you use counter weights to balance your camera rigs
@@pauleporterdp @rachinski I own the 35-80 & 70-135 Cattas (in E mount) and neither lens matches each other. My 70-135 has a huge green spike to it and it looks super warm like the 18-35 in your video, but my 35-80, while still warm, looks much more colour accurate. Ive emailed DZO about this and they say its normal and will not replace my lenses. Very unhappy customer here.
Clearly you don’t know the difference between a prime spherical lens and a zoom lens. You’re comparing apples with oranges. Another UA-cam video who thinks he’s an expert.
After watching this video i have already convinced myself that i am not going to buy the catta ace zoom lens. I think I'll go for the vespid primes, even if it's a slower way to shoot because I always have to change the focal length, it gives me more guarantees as good reliable optics. Best Roberto
As a Vespid user this is super useful, thank you!
You’re very welcome ☺️

Yes they were exactly at the same spot.
WOW after 10 videos, one honest review. I was looking into teh 35-80mm, this kinda gives me a good ideda
Thank you so much
I have to say the close focal distances between the two lenses is miles apart
Thanks for this honest review.
Thank you I’m glad that you liked it :)
I have one here and I agree with you in every aspect. It should match color and exposure but it won’t
Thanks for your confirmation ☺️ I felt like I have a bad unit 😌
