    Saturn new inflatable catamaran MC365 is largest in our series of new mini cat type of boats. It can act as an stable fishing platform, weekend pleasure cruiser for whole family or as an excellent ship-to-shore tender to cross over beach surf.
    Please note that Mini Cat type of boats are not designed to be sport racers. They do not have sponsors or fiberglass wings as XCAT type of racing boats. Mini Cats are designed to be inexpensive budget solution watercraft that can go nice and easy with small gas outboard or affordable electric trolling motors. However, care has to be taken when going fast against the strong winds, as it may flip boat over if operated improperly with wrong weight distribution. As with any other watercrafts, always wear life jacket and use outboard lanyard kill switch when going fast.
    Each tube has 2 separate air chambers for better marine safety. Air pressure release valves are built into each tube to prevent over inflation or excess pressure build up due to hot air. Extra wide durable rub strake on bottom of tubes allow beaching even on a rocky line.

    I've had this a couple months now.... Floor space is amazing! It handles wake and waves like a champ. I did put a 14hp on mine and on calm water I cruise close to 20mph but can handle the icw and all the wake easily around 15 mph..... Don't hesitate... Awesome boat!

    Motor in video is 2-stroke 15HP Mercury, but it was not run at full throttle because it was too windy that day and we felt that going against wind with wing-like bow could flip boat over. That is why this boat was rated for maximum of 9.9HP for safety reasons. However, because of cat type hull, you don't really need very powerful motor to go fast.

    My comment will come too late for some questions. This boat can fly a bit on choppy water as the strong wind will flow deep under the wide bow. This boat is good for only mid size outboard motor as 10HP max. Why I said so the flat bow is soft and can not handle real life boat easily. Eventhough, you put larger outboard motor it may not be safe enough to cut through choppy and windy situation. On the other hand, small outboard motor not excess 10 HP with hydrofoid is good in most situation and it will not tear off your transom. Remember one thing a solid Catamaran is more rigid on the bow and transom. This boat is a good choice for you only if you matching the motor well with it and take care them well as it is inflatable.

    Just purchsed one of these from your wedsite.. excellent quality and I love how roomy it is. The videos just dont do it justice. I have a 6hp johnson 2stroke im hoin to run on it. Ifeel like that should plane me out with two people even, due to the design..il be putting vids up soon when I get it out on the water.

    whats the advantage of this boat over their 11 foot dingy? It seems like it would be more stable because it has the tube across the front.

    So these all come out of same factory in Korea? I’ve seen pretty much identical boats from sellers claiming to have created this cat in New Zealand and USA. Again these look like same design, (logos & color are different) but run $2200-$2900 usd in NZ (TrueKit & TakaCat) but only $1800 usd (Bris) and $800 usd (Saturn). If anyone knows why the Kiwis are so much more let us know. Thanx

      @@thomaspaine5601 Except U.S. weld and materials are EXACTLY the same, so no... not an excuse for the kiwis to charge more. 🙄

    Right on for this review. Really helpful. What was the air pump you used?

  • @jokumusic

    Is this faster than the monohull version?
    Does it take on much water when hitting wakes or choppy waters?

    So i got a 2015 model I believe (it's green) and it says it takes up to a 30 hp motor on the actual boat... did the max motor size change or is there a typo on the boat or the website?

  • @neilconfesor9845
    @neilconfesor9845 5 років тому

    It looks unstable. I know for sure it can handle the water even witj higher speed. But it's twisting and too shaking kinda scary

    can anyone give an honest recent (2016) opinion on Saturn cat's?? just want to know if this can handle real live boating in the ocean.. as in, going 300 yards off shore, running up on sand occasionally and bouncing around chop and wind at quick speeds (15hp outboard) any real customer opinions on this?? TY

    Are these just re-badged Goethe boats from Alibaba? They even have the same model numbers?

    • @MatanuskaHIGH
      @MatanuskaHIGH 8 років тому +1

      or goathe is rebadged saturns.. as this company has been around a long time

    • @MrErinday
      @MrErinday 8 років тому

      +matanuska high - its entirely possible - could be either - thats why i asked the question. But zero response for 8 months would lead me to suspect that it is a rebadged Chinese brand, Goethe or other, adn not the other way around.

      +Erin Day i can tell you this..most raft mfg are made in the same factories in korea. you would be suprised how many brands are made in the same factory..

    • @MatanuskaHIGH
      @MatanuskaHIGH 8 років тому

      +Erin Day Korea..not chinese. Koreans have the best raft manufactures in the world..they are equipped for it. there is a couple Alaska brand raft companies here..their rafts are made in same factory as saturn..

    • @MrErinday
      @MrErinday 8 років тому

      +matanuska high main reason i asked. buying on aliexpress and paying shipping was cheaper than buying from saturn.ca etc. obviously more work involved, but at least 8 months ago it was a considerable saving.
