Please do a super set for the whole Generation Kill series.
I Second this..
I fourth this
I may not be a smart man...but i do know this is a good idea
That would be awesome! Yes Please
I 1th this
6thed, preferrably with as many of the original marines as able XD
As a Marine, Battlefield: Los Angeles was just an hour and a half USMC recruiting video lol..
Good movie. Made me think of Gears of War.
Welp, Navy had Top Gun, the army had Band of Brothers. WTF does air force have? Even the Coastguard has a recruitment movie over them with Guardian.
That’s pretty much any war film that has the backing of the Pentagon Liaison Office.
@@PolymurExcel I though the Navy’s was act of Valor
@@JnEricsonx Or halo
The lore for Battlefield: LA is that these are the same aliens from the real life Battle Of LA during WW2, with that battle being a recon mission by the aliens.
So when they get home they tell their overlords about WW2 era capabilities of humanity and send forces back to Earth based on what they would need. They weren't expecting us to be so well-developed.
Also, it's not talked about enough but if you actually observe the aliens, they're seen attempting squad tactics and even rescuing their own wounded during firefights. Something I can't say I've ever seen in other Humans vs Aliens movies.
unfortunately, a lot of that was cut from the movies, there were even Alien Tanks that never get seen, if I recall one of them melt an Abrams during the overpass scene, which unfortunately was cut, which was replaced with the SPG thing the aliens use.
Good damn movie. Made me think of how a Gears of War movie would look.
Thats why I loved this film. It wasn't over powered aliens we dont stand a chance over, but instead aliens who sure have better tech but fight like we do and have squad tactics. They landed at the beaches and then made a beach head and pushed forward, no massive alien ship destroying everything and never leaving the ships. Felt like a real war film like any other but against aliens.
"the real life Battle Of LA during WW2"? What the hell are you on about? 😆😅
@@fhlostonparaphrase trust me and look it up

Need to get Fruity Rudy on to get his side of story to this.
he's got some personal interviews around the internet if u look around
They did a podcast ep on the savage actual channel a few months back
Rudy is an outstanding guy and his wife Jade is awesome
Battle LA was actually a really good movie. Idk why it didn't do better.
Because it lacked a big name star like Will Smith or Tom Cruise.
@@KennethArriola it was also during like a really awkward time in Hollywood where alien invasion stuff were dime a dozen.
The crossover we never knew we needed. Love it. Would love to see Matt and Jason cross paths.
Would love to see rudy on the show
The Boys from Savage Actual!! Yes. More!!
Agreed! More Patrick and Jason for sure.
Dudes were hilarious😂
Black Rifle try to protect dudes name. Jason "I don't give a fuck! His name was Mike!"
I loved Generation Kill!
Any chance for some British SAS or Royal Marines reacting to things? It would be interesting to hear the technical breakdown of services, gear, and weapons we don't usually hear from. Maybe you could even do the final battle at Roark's Drift, as depicted in the 1964 film, Zulu, with Michael Caine. Thanks!
Administrative Results has an interesting video this week.
I LOVE these veteran reacts episodes! They are awesome!
there is a nice M1 Garand ping at 14:43 when Samuel shoots the vc dude
I noticed that too.
Yep, the absolute classic ping of the M1 Garand pistol
Love those filming locations that are supposed to be Vietnam, but the production was so cheap that they pick a swamp down here in the South with Cabbage Palms and Loblolly Pines.
Hell they could have just filmed me going deer hunting for the scene. 😂
We Were Soldiers battle scenes were filmed in Monterey, California. They just planted some plantation that was original in Vietnam but you can still heavily tell it's California.
IMDB says part of the movie was filmed on Hunting Island near Beaufort, SC and based on my experience camping in the state park there, that seems to be correct. The Vietnam scenes in Forest Gump were filmed in the same area, but look more real to Vietnam because they go for a more of a rice paddy rather than swamp look. Robert Zemeckis probably also invested more on set decoration and post-production effects to make it seem real to Vietnam. The cheapness and laziness of Rules of Engagement really turns me off. It makes me sad to see such a lackluster film from William Friedkin.
Yes awesome you need these guys back!
As a civilian who is never actually seen the impact of the minigun and have only known it through the Tails of veterans, seeing that in the movie Act of Valor what's the definition of beautiful death. ( I'm sorry if that sound corny to anybody else but that's just how I feel)
No it’s justified
Well I´m deeply disappointed you haven´t seen Generation Kill,. its a fucking must!
Whoever are doing these edits needs a raise
Sgt. James Dokes from ( Dexter ) says it better than Anyone..... " Surprise Motha F*cka"
Battlefield:LA was by far the best alien invasion film ever produced. The other two guys should watch it in full.
Kinda funny story. I had a gentleman go into cardiac arrest on me. I shocked him and got pulses back, and the first thing he said to me was "I gotta take a shit!"
That comment in Gen Kill reminded me of that😂
Lmao Well consider yourself fortunate that he didn’t shit the moment you shocked him. 😂
@shaun5047
True! lol!
Although I almost did, lol!
One second, I'm talking to him and calling the hospital when I hear him say (sitting behind him in the rig). "I feel funny!"
Then, I looked over at the monitor to see V-tach to course V-fib in a few seconds 😳
I'm just glad he converted on the first shock since I was the only one in the back lol!
Props to having to sit through Battlefield Earth just for the video, that alone deserves a medal lol.
You should do a EMT/Corpsman Films with like SARC Guys, and FFs.
Every serviceman knows, you always.... I mean always, had a naked guy in the unit. That guy that was really confident to walk around naked.
You guys should watch Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan. Vietnam movie about an Aussie company of 105 men fighting 2000 Veit con, Fought so hard Viet con veterans interviewed after the war said they thought they where fighting 1 to 2 battalions. Only a few years old and if you like the sjow vikings it had Ragnar.
Battlefield L.a. is one of my favorite movies.
Am I the only one who would love to see the marines fighting the bloods and crips please someone make it happen that part of the video is funny as hell
Have to include a scene of the Crips signature dance so the Marines can quote Southpark. "They really are crippled."
Ohh how I love savage actual
The closed captions at 18:27 are beautiful
Hell yeah poppa Patrick and the man himself on brcc finally!
Yes!!
Great chemistry between Me Liley&Mr Moltrup. Bring the duo more often and Cut them loose (or give rhem more beers) and we're going to have a good one
Agree! Bring them back! Patrick was hilarious. Love veterans react.
Jason and Patrick, always savage.
Be great to see them react to some Heartbreak Ridge. Awesome episode. Have them back again!
Thanks Patrick for representing! Great reactions boys! On time, On target, Never quit!
I loved the Jungle Warfare Trng Center in Oki!!!! Great times!!!
Man those SWCC boats came in like a hand from an angry God.
Also can y'all please do a full reaction to the whole Generation Kill series???
A-10 BRRRT is more like the hand from God.
SWCC is more like a Pimp hand slap.
As a former METOC Marine i love the shout out to Special Ops WX
Mike Piazza had the same thing happen to him. He auditioned for a part as an MLB catcher. He didn't get the part either.
Battle Of LA was filmed here in Northwest Louisiana. It was funny to watch
Veterans react idea: Epic movie scenes with coffee like “coffee is for closers” or just epic coffee moments in film like Top Gun buzzing the tower
Nice boys. This was a super good one. We need to run this back sometime.
5:08 Very considerate of the aliens to use tracers on every single round 🤣
That last scene with the Mark five was so funny. Guy raises an Uzi, fires the entire mag, the SWCC operator fires a short burst, and the bad guys dead.
Savage Actual, yeah baby!!!
Y'all need to sit down and watch Battle: Los Angeles throughout. It is the most underused Marine Corps recruitment film in US history.
It's Top Gun for the USMC...
I'm so glad you guys are now donating for the future of America! Actblue, thanks you! 😅😅😂 All about the $$$
7:15 The reason the aliens sucked at doing alien stuff is because the established lore (yeah, there’s lots for this movie) says they are actually a rag-tag group running from their origin planet (think of a third-world militia) in a war. They landed on Earth for a last-ditch attempt to survive and got throttled.
Hahahahah Samuel L Jackson kills the Vietcong with a 1911 and pings like a Garand😂😂😂😂
Excellent presentation thank you 🐓
What about the show 'the unit'?
When you know the area that the AoV scene was filmed, it’s funny to realize how much editing must have been necessary to make it look so cool.
I'd like a Riverine unit guest now after seeing that boat scene at the end. That was cool.
I didnt video tape the invasion bit took a lot of pictures. Lost all that film due to the heat. I feel him on losing that footage.
Wonder how many people searched Megan Fox's thumbs after this video
*"So this another alien movie?!"*
*"Yup."*
Finally! It took how long to que up Battle LA?
In Battle: Los Angeles the aliens don't bleed any specific color, pretty sure they bleed actual water and that's the main resource that they invaded Earth for. Also they're really hard to kill because their only vital organ is their heart and it can keep beating despite the aliens losing arms or legs or taking multiple head shots and massive amounts of torso damage
Semper Fi brother. I was in 3/5 H&S MT 2000-2003
It was an actual battle in LA in Feb of 1942 with an unknown hostile a few months after the Pearl Harbor attack the Army says it was jitters. over 1400 shells were fired at whatever it was but to this day no one knows what it was 7 Civilians were killed.
Great one
11:30 my dad served two combat tours in that war (96-70) with the third brigade of the 82nd airborne as an airborne raider a special ops unit set up specifically for combat in Vietnam
battle LA is pretty good show actually :)
Do Crimson Tide 1995 (Gene Hackman, Denzel Washington)
we had a 20 year SSG in our platoon.
Battle L.A.: When Staff Sergant Two-Face switches from AR to his sidearm, I think that's because he ran out of ammo, a bit desperate, at least that's how I understand this situation!?
Battle LA was filmed in Louisiana where I’m from I could tell it was Louisiana from the foliage.
Omg this the best thing ever
Hell yea boys! Great video🤘🤘
need to get some submariners watch down periscope
Act of Valor... that river exfil seen... I can only get SO HARD!!!!
I havent seen that since 2012, I need to watch it again.
USAF attachments will save your life. Coming from a USAF medic.
How about Invasion USA with Chuck Norris?
I was RP with the first Recon in 2003, during the invasion of Iraq...
Think 22:41 just goes under the whole "...why not I guess" theory of combat.
@14:13 I had an officer respond to a question for position with 'just after the fallen log' three of us listening in a jeep just looked at each other and laughed
I’ve had a coffee subscription with black rifle for over six years, never have you guys let me down! Best damn coffee ever! I have a request for an interview, former governor of Minnesota, former Navy seal, Jesse Ventura. I would love to see that interview.
8:40 I helped to build their new CP at Herlbert field where they're based out of in Navarre Florida
14:42 Why did the Garand ping go off for a 1911!?!?
A few things on battlefield LA, one is that the plt leader and plt sgt were with only one squad where is the rest of the platoon? They say they were supposed to have a machine gun team but did not see a single 240, then the guy with the 203 only had 1 40mm grenade for the entire squad, then the airmen hitting a fast flying target with an AT4
Did you watch the movie? This squad was detached from it's platoon to rescue stranded civilians. There actually was an M249 guy, and they actually used several M203 rounds.
WTF are you talking about?
@@KennethArriola then just the squad leader would be leading it or the plt sgt or the plt commander would be with the squad not both the other would be with the other two squads, a 249 is not a machine gun team a 249 is standard in a a marine fire team, and they made a big deal about the squad leader having the one 40mm the ssgt asking him "tell me u brought it" or somthing like that
Whoa, I really don't hear too many GORUCK references. Which has always been surprising to me. You guys should interview Jason McCarthy.
Honestly Jackson was probably only "sweaty" because he was leaned up against a tree lol
Thanks for the video 👊🏻🇺🇸 OORAH
I literally heard an M1 garand pin come from sam jacksons 1911 I shit you not
Is it just me or dose Patrick look like Tommy Lee we have at home
14:42 was that a garand ping?
i love they are lost and all they need is a road map

not gonna lie... i think i'm starting to have a man-crush on Jason 🤣
Savage "Lilley" has a great Instagram
I wonder of they know that they put Rudy in Call of Duty
loved Generation Kill the Gunny going nuts about the stashes was funny, when he talks about if they get too low, i'll key them up about their damn stashes, he truly does care but cant hug them , also the scene about pastors and not being armed was interesting
