      @@RedFaceeee I wish we could grow faster but I guess it's a tortoise vs hare story in our case. Lol

    Those Taxes are crazy

    • @NursesToRiches
      @NursesToRiches  Місяць тому

      What matters more to you? The percentage of your income that goes toward taxes, or the amount of money you get to keep after you're taxed? I know I personally care more about how much I get to keep because even though we pay higher taxes here, we still make a crap load more than we would anywhere else.

    I saw your meme, and I just wanted to say that money is actually made from trees....paper is made from trees, so the next time you hear "Do you think money grows on trees?"
    Your response should be" Well, Money is actually made out of trees?" I had nothing to say really but Thank you for the video.

    How does Monica get an effective gross hourly pay of $140? I mean, what specialty is she in, different hospital, or effectively, what is she doing differently from you and anyone else, that earns her such a high rate?
    Thanks!

    • @NursesToRiches
      @NursesToRiches  Місяць тому +2

      @@Athandatu her actual hourly rate is $133/hr as a per diem night-shift nurse who is a step 5 at Kaiser. All per diem nurses, regardless of their specialty, who work nights and are at the same step, earn the same hourly rate. Then, because she has sick time and gets paid while she's sick, or because she sometimes stays an extra 4 hours after her 8 hours of work, she is able to earn $199.5/hr for every one of those 4 hours-essentially bringing up her original hourly rate.

      @@joerivas8313 I know it is. There's a reason why it's long and I've mentioned it before. I usually cover three topics, which I break down into individual and shorter videos at a later date.

      I personally enjoy the long interactive podcasts. But like Jason said, he breaks them down and compresses them into shorter videos. But the lives gives his audience a chance to interact and ask questions which I appreciate ❤😊
