Weddings are expensive! For a one day event. The things you can do with your family with that money is way better than having a big wedding. I’m glad you guys put it off. Grow your business first.
@@supreme5998 I know Monica really wanted to spend that much on a celebration to get our closest family and friends together but I'm glad she was strong enough to fight the urge and instead dedicate the time and money to helping grow our business. Many people want to please everyone else at the expense of their own finances-it makes no sense to me.
Saw you on Kaiser’s CNA newsletter 😊. Just wondering if Kaiser is doing anything about per diem nurses not getting hours. They hired way too many nurses! I work in Kaiser Morse and I was only able to get 1 shift last month.
Hi! The union has been trying to fight for our regular staff and per diem nurses to get more shifts but it looks like Kaiser is reducing its number of per diem nurses because they are trying to attain magnet status since it looks better on paper when they have more regular nurses. As far as I'm aware in our ER there won't even be any more per diem positions posted for the foreseeable future.
Do you really want to throw away that much money for a wedding , we’re the same me and my husband decided to use our money for our house payment instead of wedding for a day event , now we’re still proud of ourselves for that decision. The money we used for the house came back 100x , if we had used it for a wedding the money is gone after the wedding day.
@@Infinity-2328 we totally agree. It was the best decision we made and our business income has exploded because of us. When we get to a point where spending that much is like the average income earner spending $1k, that's when we'll go through with it.
Hey I live in the east bay, ANTIOCH Is not the safest place and very hot weather. Stockton is verrryyy dangerous to live. Sac is cheap, diversity city, close to Tahoe, very hot weather, also our capital. San Jose is nice, expensive to rent, nice weather, lot of activities to do including night life, great shopping, kind of dangerous. Richmond was very dangerous to live about 5 years ago, now it is more gentrified, always windy weather there, big Mexican, Afghanistan, and Arabic communities. San Francisco is very dirty, great weather, great views, access to a lot of out door activities and night life, expensive to live comfortably and safely, can not really have a car. Vallejo Is up and coming, it has dangerous part and other parts that are not, very diverse, large Filipinos community, close to sf by fairy. Walnut Creek is bougie and lots of older people live there, weather is okay, lots of traffic on that side of the hill. If you have any other questions I can help y’all out! Welcome to the bay !
The Oakland Kaiser has its own union here. So keep in mind if you get a job there you’ll have to get rehired if you want to transfer to a different Kaiser in cali… just a heads up because I think they hire more often then the other ones in the Bay Area. Oakland is not a safe city to live in, we call it bip city
The Kaiser in Oakland is represented by the California nurses association. It is the same union that represents 20+ Kaiser hospitals in Northern California. If you transfer between any of those hospitals you do NOT have to be rehired. What you are probably referring to is the difference in unions between the Kaiser hospitals which are represented by UNAC in Southern California or the unions outside of California. When you transfer from a non-CNA-represented hospital to a CNA-represented hospital you no longer have seniority in the union and you end up going back to square one.
@@NursesToRiches yes that’s what I meant, more speaking about the sorority. I recently just found your channel and I’m currently in nursing school in the Bay Area. Thank you for putting this content together! Have you ever thought about teaching or joining up with any schools?
Is Stockton California good for nurses , is there a need for nurses there, the house is cheap in Stockton ,Ca but no idea if pay is good or the patient ratio is good , hope you make videos for Stockton , Ca and Victorville, Ca coz it’s a new area so land is still cheap, but not sure if the area is good
This is one of the worst areas to live safety wise. Might be better to live outside out Stockton and commute in especially if you have a family. Lots of home invasions and other things, plus now it is hard to obtain home insurance on homes in cali because the cost of the homes and crime rates.
You may be able to find them in a Google search but they will not give you the time of day because they have thousands of applications they receive per day and they will just tell you to apply online.

Not all Kaisers have a slack uniform policy though.
@@mazamota as far as I'm aware the ones in Northern California do.

How would you find a nurse recruiter for Kaiser ?

So if I’m trying to plan to get into Kaiser as a new grad is the only way constant applying?
