Spot on, and there are indeed a lot of recent bands inspired by Classic Afrobeat/Highlife producing amazing stuff nowadays, such as Newen Afrobeat, Afro Social Club, Ojibo Afrobeat, Albinoid Afrobeat Orchestra, etc. The future of excellent music is no doubt in good hands. New voices on the scene, refreshing, the instrumentation,the aproach, i can hear fela ranson kuti, earth wind and fire and few others. But they have their own unique sound and aproach. They are great. I wish them great sucess going foward.
