Always go back to these videos for reference. Shawn talks about the Beni(red) being lighter in females, but that only applies to fish with that color. Are there other colors to look for when when trying to judge on the fly?

+Talli Jamir I can't give you much advice without knowing more about the koi and at least seeing them. I am not a qualified vet to offer any medical advice. Do you have any local koi specialists that you can lean on for assistance?
I have 2 butterfly koi, about 8” how can I tell if one of them or both are male or females? Or should I just wait longer.

wait what? u said that male have big and round fins? what i saw generally in the other videos is that males has likely pointed fins. opposite as what u have said.

my koi fish are already 2 years old.. but they didn't grow bigger.... they are still 5-6 inch.. please help :(
