Practice makes perfect start with some old or broken cars. I can tell you now I am very good at this thanks to applying Howards methods. There are many other ways to do this with excellent results. This is just the way Howard does it.
Excellent tutorial. Absolutely agree with Howard, Scalecoat and Floquil were the best paints. Something I’ve been experimenting with is, after dull coating using very thinned down craft paints. Couple drops mixed with 50/50 water 70% alcohol. A few light coats will fade down the color. Then very light pan pastel weathering.

Great lesson. Do you spray the car with a final coat to keep the pastels from wiping off?
No just don't handle it and let it set takes about 10 days once set we have found them to be quite durable
