Just to say I’m a kiwi in Wellington and kiwi can only be found in the night but if you come back to Wellington in the zoo you can see them and there very cute 😊
great video! us Wellingtonians are proud of our little city, thank you for sharing! always interested to see it through the eyes of others :) hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay!
Another sweet video Renata and Gordon. Windy Wellington can sure get very windy. I think it's one of the windiest cities in the world. You have been very lucky with the weather! When Wellington is still and sunny it's a different place. So beautiful. A common phrase for Wellingtonians is "you can't beat Welly on a good day." The waterfront walk is very nice and usually the fastest way to get from A to B too. You did well to catch the market too. And Te Papa is definitely worth a visit especially as it's free. Te Papa roughly means "our place." On the subject of the word Aotearoa it's being used more and more in place of New Zealand and the country is a bit split on that. Aotearoa was the name of the north island by some tribes so it's been adopted as the name for the whole country fairly recently. Legend has it that the voyager Kupe with his wife and crew discovered NZ and one of his wives exclaimed "look. Aotearoa!" which means a long white or shimmering cloud. So that's where it comes from. I feel so happy to see you both enjoying our country and doing the things I've also done. Can't wait to see the next one!
Hi Glenn! I'm so happy you're enjoying the videos! Thank you so much for watching 😊. Ahhhh, interesting to learn the meaning of Aotearoa, as that came as a huge surprise to me when we arrived in New Zealand and started seeing the word in so many places and in the news. I read a lot about world's history and geography, and had never heard of Aotearoa before. That explains 😉. And about the weather, we had some rainy and cold days too, but thankfully we spent more time in both Auckland and Wellington and could wait for sunny days to film 😉 (it's normally what we do in every trip, and we use the rainy days to make plans/research and visit as many cafes/restaurants as we can 😂😂). We were really lucky with the train ride though, as that's the only thing we couldn't change 😁🙏
Hi Reneta, wow soo much to do, so much to see I NZ and it is soo beautiful there, definitely worth a visit and I know the perfect airline to take me there too, at least from where I live. Hopefully in the near near future.

Yeah as a New Zealander who lived in Wellington for 32 years I wouldn't live there again if you paid me to. Nice city in you can live in a place where it blows a howling gale 364 days of the year. It is cold and damp in the Winter. Takes ages to get out of the place. Forget trying to find to find any parking. Most of the CBD is boring. The cable car good. Te Papa worth a visit Harbour lovely on a fine day. Best trip to Wellies is actually leaving it

Awesome interactive - and free! - museum. Otherwise, the British colonial culture and harbourscape is so similar to here in Victoria BC. Gordon (from Canada?) would prob agree... Def. so much less Indigenous language awareness in Canada - yet?!
Thank you! Just keep producing videos and you will figure out along the way. Worry less about equipment and focus on process broken up into 4 stages: pre-production, production, post production, release. Much luck and I will keep an eye out for your videos.
