It's crazy how in the span of a few months OoE went from one of the most standard speedruns to being completely and utterly broken and I'm honestly here for it.
Amazing that ALL of this was quite literally sat on before the Dominus collection. The only game breaking thing was the magical ticket in boss rush. Now we're playing with essentially ACE in this what seemed to be structurally coded game.
Shanoa: "Ah, I have to be the sacrifice huh, no matter, I will just use the ticket" Barlowe: "You fool, you can't use the ticket here because story progression...I mean that vessel probably disallows it or sth like that" Shanoa: "Try me" Succeeds in using it anyway with "outside help" Barlower: "Aw fuck, can't believe you've done this"

Very nice to see how far its come! Is there any possible way to bring out Albus quicker to take advantage of his teleport? Hyperspeed is super fast, but teleporting will always be faster + being able to pass through walls/floors so it might be worth a look?

How come your magnes bdcs don't show any inputs on your controller? Does the input display not show inputs that only last for a short enough time? Are there some extra buttons the display isn't set up to read?
I was going to comment this very thing, not saying it’s not legit, but it just seems odd because I feel ALL inputs should display properly regardless of speed, ESPECIALLY during speed running
I use a velcro controller of my own creation. Info copy-paste: "I attached a velcro square onto the back of my numpad USB, then used Gorilla Glue to affix a velcro strip to the top of a buckle strap, which I have fastened above my right knee." Basically with this setup I can switch between a gamepad and mini-keyboard on the fly, and Ecclesia NEEDS keyboard speed for top times.
Niice, do you have tutorials for speedrun tricks like the movement backsteps you use? When i spam it wheres endlag and when i attack its a bit faster but an attack comes out and its not that fast
I will repeat the argument. Since these glitches require Boss Rush mode. They should be counted in NG+ category since you can't do it on a fresh load of the game.
Just wondering, how many of these glitches are Collection Only? To my knowledge so far, only Crab boss skip is (because on OG hardware it crashes for some reason)
To be honest... I have no idea of what the heck happened for most of the run, like... how the heck you triggered a stupidly busted move that reminds me of using the Hyper Dash part in Megaman X5 and X6? Regardless, even if I didn't understand a thing, it was fun to watch.
holy shit the previous route was "I gotta learn this run immediately" levels of impressive but this has graduated to "I could never do that" levels this game is INSANE

Everything on the old NMC route was found to work on the DS, so this should work, too
