    As a screenplay writer, there’s a true fear of one’s writing being less than one’s vision

      @@larzguy3714 What he means is, using this video as an example, Seth's ideas here at the end of feeling torn between two groups of friends, not knowing who is influencing you better is a very clever, deep idea. Him pitching that idea is stronger in some ways than the way he ended up executing it. That happens all the time. I'll come up with a great concept then finish the script and feel like I could explain it to a person better than I was able to represent it through visuals and dialog. Doesn't matter whether you are in full creative control or not. It's always a challenge to get your idea represented right.

    As a screenplay writer, I don't really have a set vision before I start writing. There's a vision there, but it's never fully concrete. So, I just start writing and let the vision find itself. Allow your script to breathe.

    That’s good advice. I definitely talk about my ideas & build them up in my head to be so cool then write for only 10 minutes. I need to do what he said about not treating ur idea like they are so precious

    • @MrBeastknows
      @MrBeastknows 4 роки тому +18

      Write the idea down while you think about it. Seriously. Open up the Notes app or just email yourself if that's easier. Just write it down as you think about it. That way you're able to play it out as you come up with it, and it leads to more ideas as they come. And now you've done half the work. The rest is to simply form it into something proper.

    No amount of writing talent or craft will replace networking and knowing the right people. I've read scripts in production that would have never got to a producer's desk. The whole thing is rigged, sure, you can be the best writer in the world, but even that isn't much of a guarantee to even be considered. Just write for the love of it and never expect success. The stars may align at some point if you're lucky enough.

    “Cruising” is sure to have readers clutching at their seats, and running to the hills, so that they can use it behind a tall bush where hopefully no is one around to see them.
    *** all of Seth’s books, including, and especially, “Barnacle”, and “Crushing” are gentile, safe, and comfortable to the touch as they’re printed on thick, cushiony, quilted two-ply paper so that even though you’re throughly disgusted with yourself, you’ll still be able to feel fresh and clean after using them.”

    Seth’s narcissism is a real love story. He can actually bring himself to orgasm just by thinking about himself, thinking about himself.

    OMG OMG OMG! I have watched this video on UA-cam with G SMOKE 🐐🚬0⃣3⃣😜🖕 and Black Peter Griffin and it was awesome! I love Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, the screenplay writing talk and the mentions of everything! The screenplay idea seems like an amazing idea for screenplay writers! 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
