This is a possibly pointless detail, but when you look from the enderman's eyes in spectator mode, the colors are reversed. So end stone looks like cobblestone.
Hmm, maybe their eyes adjusted with their form, and start to believe this strange dimension is like their old home. Having an inverse human stare at you would startle them, and make them attack you.
I also want to add that when actually fighting endermen, they teleport to flank you. They also know to dodge projectiles. They’re obviously more intelligent than most mobs.
I have something to say to you. I have seen Endermen activate Sculk Shriekers. Now if you watch Wifes theory on the Warden, he said that Sculk Shriekers were player activated, or person activated. So for Endermen Activating Shriekers might just prove your theory correct.
Since their biomass had to be rearranged their arms got longer to catch the fruits but got weaker too, thats why they can only pick light blocks and never pick something heavy like a rock or a metal block
The elongated eyes are most likely an evolved version of regular eyes, they’re bigger to let in more light. Probably to see better in the dark end, or further to see food.
someone else said that all endermen have inverted vision found in spectator mode, maybe so the end stone looks like cobblestone and is familiar to them
And with minecraft story mode the theory seems more true The wither is spawned then it starts trying to kill you, the enderman might be some of the people running from it like you then they got to the end to be safe then this is proved more because the enderman help you kill the wither by pulling parts off of it
Came back after todays theory about the nether being frozen, the fact that the endermen only move soil and flowers (with no Steve intervention to give tnt) shows that these ancient builders that became twisted after ruining two dimensions have learned their lesson. While they cannot fix what they had broken, they can continue to move and make beautiful our overworld, planting flowers after teleporting hundreds of meters away.
That is such a wholesome idea 😍. Well, about as wholesome as it gets considering who we're talking about. Our poor tall dark and handsome creatures..(just love that joke from MatPat, that's how I'm gonna nickname the Endermen from now on)😂
I actually really like that idea as the happy ending for the Endermen. The story of the Endermen was really tragic at first but this puts a happier spin on it. Great theory!
Theory: Enders pearls are teleportation “glands” of storage (similar to the gallbladder) than endermen evolved to have in order to control the fruit’s property. They still eat the chorus fruit, but instead of immediately teleporting it stores the energy so they can use it themselves. The reason that some drop it while others don’t is because you, they player, might’ve damaged it while you were hitting them, and without Looting 3, there is NO way you’re going to be able to successfully not hit all 4 glands
Misha Your statement further proves MatPats theory because Steve is the only creature that could collect XP so what could’ve happened is that the endermen had Collected XP from other mobs just like Steve does.

I just heard it and it sounds like hes trying to escape something. Something he cant see while hes stuggeling and looking up something. I hear pages and blocks begin broken. I feel like it takes place in the stronghold... (Disk 11)
Theory:chorus flowers weren't always in the end, after the builders entered the end and started to run out of food, they tried planting seeds, but instead of growing into a normal crop, it switched to chorus flower.
Bonus theory: Maybe the Enderman turn aggressive when you look at them, because your appearance is similar to the zombies & other monsters they had to face in the overworld.
Or maybe the agression is like a test. Where if you cant defeat an endermen you cant possibly defeat a dragon. And if you do beat the endermen then you get awarded its pearl thatll lead you to on step closer to the dragon
Maybe you remind them of what they used to be. And their embarrassment turns them to attack you for looking at them in the state they ended up. They are ashamed that someone like you looks at those monsters when they used to look like you at some point
Libby & Minty (but it's not a good channel yet) Or they have a self realization, like the cyberman from Doctor who, who began feeling emotions and remembering who they were. Said Cyber man said: “I’m so cold” “Where’s garret” “I was going to get married”. And by seeing their past selves they have self realization with the ender dragons manipulation provoking them and forcing them into a state of insanity and psychopath. And by knowing you will attack upon aggression then they will be agressive.
One little thing that might also support this theory: the music that plays when you're in the end is actually just a ghostly, distorted version of the overworld tracks (compare 'Calm 1' and 'The End') :)
Theory: The endermen are picky about the blocks they interact with because *those blocks* are the ingredients necessary to craft enderpearls. The player, obviously, doesn't have the capacity to follow such instructions (similar to end portals and enchanted apples), but the Ancient Civilization must've been so set on using this recipe that they still have the instinct to do it - saying things like "look for the eye" (Also see: Headcrabbed HL2 Combine Soldiers repeating lines and callouts that they often said) - and potentially picking up those blocks either out of a fruitless instinct or a deliberate effort to continue successfully making enderpearls. The end portals are partially filled because these endermen managed to put together a few eyes - which can also explain why only some are in active possession of pearls - but almost never completely fill it because it takes thousands of years for them to do so.
Ok, I thought: You can only find strongholds through eyes of ender right? What if that is the Endermen’s way of having the player find their brethren? if you look trough the enderman's eyes in spectator mode, everything becomes negative... this is a point to the enderman being humans adapted to live in the end
The end is a distorton a corrupted world with no life before these builders i personally think the ender dragon is soulless. The end is the opposite of the begginning the beggining being the overworld where do you find cobblestone? Thats right in the overworld
Probably the best evidence that another civilisation travelled to the End and built structures there are the doors. All the doors in End structures are two blocks high - Endermen are three blocks tall, and can’t fit through them.
@@hughsmith9528 Maybe they forced them to evolved into endermen??? To get the ability to teleport aka to run away from the mobs (Idfk i am not a game theorist)
THE WITHER!! When you defeat the Wither, you get the achievement called "the beginning". The thing that was killing the people in the overworld was the wither! It is the beginning of the end. The beginning of people going into the end, being trapped there, turning into endermen and the beginning of the lore of minecraft. When they went inside the strongholds, while the Wither was kept outside, people still had the "sickness" (the wither effect), so they went into the End seeking something that could stop their sickness, and while they succeeded, they transformed into the endermen that we know today. The most skilled teleporters eventually managed to teleport to other dimensions, the overworld and the nether.
It makes sence, but there is one problem. If all the survivors ran to the End when the Wither was alive, then no-one could have killed it, so it should still be alive when we join the world, but it isn't
@@matematulji I think that over many years, the wither went back to the nether and turned the skeletons there to wither skeletons, exhausting its power and dissapearing. You can get the skulls (its "power") from the skeletons and summon it again.
I think the wither returned to the nether and fell victim to it’s own power, it withered away and all of it’s remains are left inside of wither skeletons and such beings
Great theory, but you missed one thing. The ”ships” in the end have dragon heads on them, that makes me believe that there were other dragons there when they came to the end, and they killed them all... except one.
A small detail here, it is safe to say the end has lot lower atmospheric pressure since endermen evolved to be more than twice as tall as they once were.
Maybe the endermen hate endermites like we hate cockroaches, they creep us out and interfere with our normal day. Maybe when they were highly advanced they used enderpearls so much that the endermites became an annoyance in their normality, and they still retain the hate of the endermites after generations. Edit: I made the connection to cockroaches to make the way endermen hate endermites relatable.
@@dark_ohantom8902 Yeah endermites do seem like the end version of silverfish. They silverfish hide inside stone while endermites hide inside ender pearls. And they're equally as annoying.
Also, if they evolved, that would take millions of years and strongholds would be so ruined that they're basically like natural caves with an end portal frame in them.
The new official Minecraft novel “Minecraft: The End” mentions that the endermen didn’t build the end cities and that they were just “there” when they arrived. If by “arrived” they mean their transformation from human to enderman, then this is extremely strong evidence to support this theory.
Theory debunked by the simple Fact alone that we, the Player, are as strong as we are. Zombies and whatnot else, they are so weak, we could build a Defense (a 'Stronghold') against these soooo easily, it's laughable. If they had even half the Ability we have at the start of the game, they were invincible to the Zombies, who can be stopped forever by a 2-Block-Wall! And it was an Entire Species?? I don't need to tell you what crazy Strongholds can be build in Multiplayer, right? Right?
7:03 you also forgot to mention that wood does not exist in end dimension, yet we have chests in end dimension which means the ancient builders brought them.
He also forgot to mention he reversed the audio for the endermen speaking he makes it sound like you can hear there words without reversing the audio whats important to note is they speak backwards so if you just playing the game 'whats up" doesn't sound like whats up you could hear it and never know unless you are fluent in reverse speech
1.They have never gone to sleep after going to the end as well since you can't place beds in the end and beds are the only way to sleep in the game 2.They attack you when you look at them probably because they don't want you to see what they have turned into 3.The reason why they say look for the eye is probably because they want to be freed from the end
the enderman: hi pls free us by killing the ender dragon ;( steve: ok how to get there the endermen: eye of ender steve: don’t that need ender pearls..? the endermen: a small price to pay for salvation
I know! If they really don't teleport and they just move fast...how did they really get that ability? The fruit supposably teleport you not make you very fast so how would they have adapted that ability? And why? Why did they even adapt the ability to move like that? Is there some other mob here that they have to "run" and hide from? What would that be? Maybe we weren't the second generation to populate but there was another more hostile one before up that hunted endermen.
The endermen also adapted with night vision properties. If you go into spectator mode and see from the endermans perspective, they have a different type of view.
2:39 I love how he calls them 'tall dark and handsome creatures'. It's my favorite phrase now. I shall now refer to them as our favorite 'tall dark handsome creatures'..😂❤
Theory: they’re ashamed of how they look so that’s why they attack you when you look at them, also they don’t like looking at their reflection so that’s why they hate water.
They were deprived of water for so long they got very dry so touching water instantly moisturises them It's so quick to point that it hurts That's what i think at least
One thing to note is that the endermen do get aggressive with the enderdragon if they’re attacked by it. Whether that’s because they’re not fully human anymore, or they know it’s not an ally, remains a mystery. Some detail worth noting I feel.
Endermen are trying to help us. They don't say "get away" or "intruder" they say "hey" "what's up" and "look for the eye" they are good and endermen Try to help.
Theory: Endermen are aggresive when they see a player's eyes because it reminds them of their ancestors and the sacrifice their ancestors had to make. Think about it. To fill in the Portal to escape, they needed Eye of Ender's. In order to get these, their ancestors BURNED THEIR EYES (blaze powder resembles fire) as they believed they must make a sacrifice to activate the portal. So, when an Endermen sees a player's eye's, they remember how the sacrifice their ancestors had to make and get angry.
Maybe , humans divided into tribes and they create the pigmen and villagers. Maybe the endermites can spawn enderpearls and they are the reason why the humans had access to the end
Whist yeah this is probably the way it went. I mean, the theory is incredibly interesting but too much elaborated. So much that it leads you to believe that it may just be a theory and not a solid fact. As evidence we only have the achievements... but sure is an interesting theory. But this is funny: I have always looked at the enderman if it was like us, humans, but in a way that they’re not.
@Cobalt Prime Um, there is the end credits. Two people talking to you. and about you. After you beat the dragon. You can tell these are people because they use natural language. However, when you end the credits, you get a glimpse of the End before returning. The entities are the Endermen. Talking to and about you. Also, after, it is easier to understand them. You can read their thoughts now.
i mean they probably just did stuff in the beginning but i think they started to get a clearer version of the world they were building. and maybe it is unintentional, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find a good story in it all.
*theory*: In regards to the ender mites, they might’ve been a catalyst for how the endermen ended up how they did. Some mites are known to infest foods, what if the ender mites infest the chorus fruit the ancient builders ate when they arrived to the end, mites are also known to give deseases to those infected, the ender mites could’ve passed on a desease that turned the ancient builders into ender men, could be a reason why they hate them so much
i always thought that endermites were baby enderman since they only show up when you throw enderpearls, also enderpearls stack in 16s like chicken eggs
I personally believe the ender mites are silver fish who followed the builders and fell to the same fate as them. There are after all literall silver fish spawners located at the portals.
The extra redstone Endermam or old man hey we are super cool and good Creatif yeah yeah kids Pro builder and in redstone and the man who make à computer Hold my beer
My theory to why the endermen attack you when you look them in the eyes is that one of their ''speach sound'' is ''look for the eye''. I think that their afraid that you take their eyes and kill them. So when they get angry, its just self defence.
But what about the Dragon egg? If there is an egg, than this implies that in the past there were MORE dragons, which could explain why the advanced civility couldn't defeat all of them. Sure that they killed some, which explains the Dragon heads that can be found in the end cities, but there were so many that they simply gave up.
I personally find it unlikely that the endermen killed the dragon before. If they did then the portal would open, allowing the endermen to escape before their bodies began to deteriorate. I think what happens is that the ender dragon reincarnates every once in a while, like a phoenix.
This is a possibly pointless detail, but when you look from the enderman's eyes in spectator mode, the colors are reversed. So end stone looks like cobblestone.

I love rewatching this video after the confirmation that there actually was an ancient civilisation in great danger.
It was confirmed?
@Planeman not verbally, but I do think the ancient cities prove it :)

Yeah i too
But when you look at them they attack u so that makes me feel better

Haha Nice one
AceDog you're right
I realized that endstone is just negative cobblestone.
Not sure if it means anything but it's cool to know.
Angry cobblestone :D)
Whaaaat!?!
if you look trough the enderman's eyes in spectator mode, everything becomes negative...
this is a point to the enderman being humans adapted to live in the end
The end is a distorton a corrupted world with no life before these builders i personally think the ender dragon is soulless. The end is the opposite of the begginning the beggining being the overworld where do you find cobblestone? Thats right in the overworld
Probably the best evidence that another civilisation travelled to the End and built structures there are the doors.
All the doors in End structures are two blocks high - Endermen are three blocks tall, and can’t fit through them.
They've evolved in the end
They wouldn't need houses because of their adaption
Yeah but why are nether portals 3 blocks high???
@@hughsmith9528 Maybe they forced them to evolved into endermen??? To get the ability to teleport aka to run away from the mobs (Idfk i am not a game theorist)

@Lucas M dude they had level 30+ enchanted armor and weapons. What more do you want.
@@sfirro i know about the skulls. That is very much possible
What if Minecraft storymode was actually the past of Minecraft, back when there was civilizations. It goes along with your theory
I think the wither returned to the nether and fell victim to it’s own power, it withered away and all of it’s remains are left inside of wither skeletons and such beings
still love that Minecraft holds such interesting lore/ theory and its unfolding little by little

Great theory, but you missed one thing. The ”ships” in the end have dragon heads on them, that makes me believe that there were other dragons there when they came to the end, and they killed them all... except one.
Maybe that one dragon had healing crystals, unlike the others.
You are brilliant
Came here to say this. I think this theory is on the right track, but we're missing some details

This explains a lot about the dragon egg

Scott: *Yeah, OK.
I'm gonna add an AR game to the FNAF franchise.
What about you?

Guy: I need you to find the difference between these two pictures * Steve and enderman*
Mat pat: they’re the same picture
lmao that’s smart
Matpat: he aged well
A small detail here, it is safe to say the end has lot lower atmospheric pressure since endermen evolved to be more than twice as tall as they once were.
Notch :this is a nice game but we need some creatures
Game theory: these mobs were advanced species
Maybe the endermen hate endermites like we hate cockroaches, they creep us out and interfere with our normal day. Maybe when they were highly advanced they used enderpearls so much that the endermites became an annoyance in their normality, and they still retain the hate of the endermites after generations.
Edit: I made the connection to cockroaches to make the way endermen hate endermites relatable.
There are no cockroaches in the overworld and nothing in the Theory connected the real world to the Minecraft world.
The endermites are literally the silverfish who fell into the portal maybe?
@@dark_ohantom8902 Yeah endermites do seem like the end version of silverfish. They silverfish hide inside stone while endermites hide inside ender pearls. And they're equally as annoying.
maybe the future civilzation got infected by endermites and turned into enderman
but it's just zGAME THEORY
This video gives me such a good Deja vu feeling
I remember the Herobrine theories back in 2011, and now we're at it again with even more theories!
Yes but who built the cities? 🤔
Начков Варшавский A creative player
It's just a theory 😂
Начков Варшавский What if there extremely mutated chorus fruit or shulkers.
Right?
*MatPat* : "Strangely it means, they come in peace"
*Enderman stealing my flowers* : "What's up?"
Lmao
7:03 you also forgot to mention that wood does not exist in end dimension, yet we have chests in end dimension which means the ancient builders brought them.
true
And when they ran out of wood they used the things around them
He also forgot to mention he reversed the audio for the endermen speaking he makes it sound like you can hear there words without reversing the audio whats important to note is they speak backwards so if you just playing the game 'whats up" doesn't sound like whats up you could hear it and never know unless you are fluent in reverse speech
i have got another thing doorways in endcity's i think are 2 blocks tall so they made the citys before they were endermans
none of the items found in chests are obtainable in the end so this chest thing is pretty obvious
1.They have never gone to sleep after going to the end as well since you can't place beds in the end and beds are the only way to sleep in the game
2.They attack you when you look at them probably because they don't want you to see what they have turned into
3.The reason why they say look for the eye is probably because they want to be freed from the end

Game theorists: It all had a meaning!
Notch and Mojang: Nah... we just did it
Whist yeah this is probably the way it went.
Dreaded Gamer 23 I haven’t beaten the ender dragon in a while. I don’t remember that much but happy into looking to this when I’ll do it again.
What if minecraft dungeons is a prequel to minecraft?
i mean they probably just did stuff in the beginning but i think they started to get a clearer version of the world they were building. and maybe it is unintentional, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find a good story in it all.
*theory*: In regards to the ender mites, they might’ve been a catalyst for how the endermen ended up how they did. Some mites are known to infest foods, what if the ender mites infest the chorus fruit the ancient builders ate when they arrived to the end, mites are also known to give deseases to those infected, the ender mites could’ve passed on a desease that turned the ancient builders into ender men, could be a reason why they hate them so much
Dude that actually might be true, endermen literally kill endermites
i always thought that endermites were baby enderman since they only show up when you throw enderpearls, also enderpearls stack in 16s like chicken eggs

If there is an egg, than this implies that in the past there were MORE dragons, which could explain why the advanced civility couldn't defeat all of them. Sure that they killed some, which explains the Dragon heads that can be found in the end cities, but there were so many that they simply gave up.
Damn so true
Ibxtoycat did a video on that 😁
Watch ibxtoycats video about the dragons lore it's pretty awesome
I personally find it unlikely that the endermen killed the dragon before. If they did then the portal would open, allowing the endermen to escape before their bodies began to deteriorate. I think what happens is that the ender dragon reincarnates every once in a while, like a phoenix.
