Since I've stopped playing i'll let you in on my secret: catlike 5 with drifter jets lets you leap over buildings almost as well as ambushers, since the jump height gives you the boost of upwards momentum that drifters lack. You can circle whole groups with a shotgun picking them off, and you're way too fast for them to keep up.
You forgot the noob skirmisher playstyle, where they attempt to breach a room by flying, but go too high up and get their face and aim blocked by the top door frame while the rest of their body gets filled with bullets.
I use Covert Drop 5 and Springstep 5 to turn invisible and run into points to prematurely activate the anti personnel mines the enemy engineer is busy placing
The real trick to c4 fairy is to abuse jump pads by turning sideways and drifting like impulse surfer. It's the greatest thing since tribes. I've launched from Esamir biolab landing pads and dropped on tank columns two bases over. Which is why I hate the Esamir rework. Or the general war on jump pads. Yes I also run serpent and to the whole drifter strafing thing. Or at least I used to.
I hope to see one of these for Combat Medic, because I main it. I'd like to help get you started with some suggestions: CQC Sweaty 1v1 Medic Variation 1: H-V45/GR-22/NS-11 for the increased ADS movement speed to strafedodge and peek corners better at short range. Variation 2: Carbine ASP Serpent VE92 for maximum degenerate hipfiring, you don't even bother to ADS at all with this gun. It does more damage than an SMG and has better hipfire accuracy and rate of fire than the AR counterparts. You also swap to carbines faster when you are switching from your Medgun. These players enjoy being able to 1v1 any class while not needing Med Kits to stay healthy between engagements. This leaves them with an equipment slot for C4 so they can even 1v1 MAX units. If they're Vanu they can use Obelisk secondary and even 1v1 bolters a hex away. Infiltrator LARPer Medic These medics use the Obelisk's lack of bullet drop, 2-3 shot kill and infinite ammo to pretend they are the protagonist of American Sniper. You can usually find them among nests of Infiltrators, such as on top of the rock ledge on the mountain across the Ascent, or shooting at Ti Alloys from the Crown. The infinite range and ammo on this weapon is no joke, they are great at providing cover fire from afar. Carapace Medic This playstyle revolves around stacking Carapace, maxed out Combat Surgeon, Restoration Kits and the Nano-Regen Device to emulate what it's like to play a sweaty Heavy Assault. Before breaching you let someone else go first to die in the doorway so you can revive them to proc the Combat Surgeon bullet resistance. Then you pop a Restoration Kit and you are ready to enter a room full of people. With all that self healing you are so tanky that you can reactively go behind cover as soon as you get low on health. That's where you pop another Restoration Kit, and reload since your magazine capacity is not as big as that of an LMG. Ammunition Belt is recommended for this playstyle so that reload doesn't leave you vulnerable for too long. These medics excel at mowing down multiple targets in a row with little downtime. AFK Cert Farmer Medic You take Shield Recharging Field, Advanced Shield Capacitor, Auxiliary Shield, Ordnance Dampener, and Jockey + Ocular Shield for implants. You upgrade your Flash's Scout Radar and your medic's Triage perk to max. Now you drive your Flash into some tunnel chokepoint, put down your Ordnance Dampener and Shield Recharging Field and just sit there as the money flows into your bank account. You can switch to the 2nd seat of your Flash to continue healing while you revive the dead paypiggies. One better variation of this loadout is to use Carapace instead of Jockey if you have it, and equip Flak Armor instead of Advanced Shield Capacitor. This is because your Triage perk continuously heals you, and you then don't have to worry about moving your Flash out of the splash zone for your shield to recharge, or dismounting to place down a new Ordnance Dampener when it inevitably breaks. Shotgun Shitter Medic If you are too bad to play the CQC Sweaty Medic variations you can always equip a shotgun. No honorable player would do this. 0 TTK thanks to peeker's advantage and a one hit kill is so unfun to play against that you will get a lot of rage-tells. ASP Scout Rifle secondary recommended if you want to be remotely useful outside of CQC. Medgun Mains These players spend more time with their Medgun out than shooting. They are the opposite of the CQC Sweaty 1v1 Medic and tend to be newer players just trying to make themselves useful. They are the invisible backbone of any zerg and go underappreciated. Their commitment to reviving fallen allies tends to go so far that they will have their Medgun out as they're doing a 100 meter sprint through an open field to make it to the corpse of an ally without looking left or right to see if they're passing through an active line of fire. This makes them easy targets to engage on because they can't return fire, and makes you wonder if they look both ways when crossing the street in real life. Kind regards, SissyFemboyUwU of Miller.
you are so fucking funny man. i honestly lose my shit in so many of the jokes you make. I don't know why youtube doesn't always recommend me your videos, you make any video great
The other day I tried the funny silenced shotgun equipped with the blue dragon camo as a LA against NC. It worked very well. The Planetmen didn't suspect the robot cause he was blue. :D
The drifter guy can also just stick to the ceiling of indoors stuff, which guarantees the 'i shoot you in the head while my feet blocks mine' angle and no one checks up when breaching an empty room. The trick is the jet extenders suit so you can just stay up there nearly forever. I call it spidermanning and it's questionably even more scummy then the bullet dodger but is more reactive, what is your opinion?
@ank13 Light assaults can be worse then infils AND open up with c4 AND if you kill them they dont have to sneak back in delaying them 20ish seconds, instead they spawn and instantly fly up so you get bothered every 5-10 seconds at an angle you cannot watch due to the amount of enemies in the game, even if you do they can dip freely or blind C4. I'd rather have boltered because at least then less people can do it consistently and it has a cap kills per second or two, if you lose a 1v1 due to instakill theres plenty of ways to and it cuts to the chase.
Okay, I had to pause the video with that "Flock of Birds" playstyle because I was laughing too hard. What? I haven't played in a squad or platoon properly, but... what? Okay, I have walked and LA'd from facility to facility before to get access to respawns that aren't supposed to be available, but this clearly isn't that. So what's the plan here? Go in, take point, point hold as LA without logistics (again, what?), and die? What? I have, from time to time, walked into an enemy base, usually without a plan, to solo cap. Often enough it's not to actually cap, but to back-cap so the enemy can't push the lane. This kind of activity would need a squad at most. You can't _actually_ hold with a platoon of LA without logistics, right? If there aren't enough enemies to defend, or if you don't care to actually cap and you just need to buy time, you don't really need a whole platoon, right? What? Edit: I am sad to see the only playstyle that could involve Skirmisher Jets above C tier is the Subterranean LA. I understand, though. It's not like just anyone can be Ganidiot. Not even Ganidiot is, anymore!
@@chinoYochino Yesterday I started using impulse engineer. LA does it better but it is so funny. Give your engineer impulse newton and catlike 5. Too bad you already made engineer tier list.
As someone who mained LA long ago, when I heard of the rocklet rifle being added the only thing I could think was "why?". C4 was plenty of destructive power we did not need more.
every time you post I feel like opening planetside 2 again
Open it while you can still play it haha
@@hobog I've had people say this to me like.. 6 years ago. Lol.
Is an amazing game
light assault's my favourite kind of assault
hard assault is not my favorite neither!
i'm more of a dark assault guy myself.
Chino posted... i feel alive again

The entire platoon of drifters got me rolling on the floor laughing I can't stop
The Impulse grenade surfer is literally a TF2 rocket jumper
The chad assault is truely one of the classes of plantsode 2

let the power of the boing boing propel you
how are you consistently this funny man i love you
"Vertically challenged" got me. Have a like.
Awesome, you got all of them except for Drifters + Catlike lol
Gigachad grenade surfers rise up.
its just soo fun
I use Covert Drop 5 and Springstep 5 to turn invisible and run into points to prematurely activate the anti personnel mines the enemy engineer is busy placing
I would be very tilted if turbo invisible man sets off hard placed mines in front of my eyes
"enjoy the light amount of salt as a light assault" im dead
Thank you and the chinese platoon for the drifter jet clip! Hilarious and awesome

hopefully, I can get medic tierlist soon as well. I will be sure to include medgun mains at least!
🏄 all day everyday chino
Appreciate your surfing guide; taught me how to surf for the first time!
Light assault is best assault haha
Catlike Drifters is my favourite playstyle.
Truly one of the tierlist of all time

that is criminal... I will give it try too
Being blue does not protect you from being shot by other NC. I have bullets lodged in my ass to prove it.
I cant believe I just noticed the guitar theme is Planetside's lol
I’m the first NC light assault in this video. I’m a tanker, not an infantry pro😂 so I use gd7f only
Soon enough, NC re-education will lock your arsenal to only AC-X11 and Gauss SAW
Orbital light assault class funniest ahit ive ever seen. We need more players if only to have a bugger audience for chino
Is the max-glitcher a light assault too?
Awesome video as always! 😍

IMO the only thing that is "scummy" are hackers. Otherwise it's all fair game! ... except for infiltrators of course 😉

@yourdemiseishere Don't worry, it's "outmaneuver" and never a cheese as long as you are playing light assault
Do it with Catlike so you get a silly amount of height to begin with.
The music sound nice
Super funny I LOL everytime I watch your vids
love you chino

Don't even get me started on the CB-ARX Newton shitters ... Which is not to say I still don't want one. 😀
Everyone hates on Newton, but never on Horizon
This was a good one
C4 fairy lol. Missing planet side 2
Ambushers best in game fite me
road to einstein when
well, last linecutter kills are taking forever for me
How dare you put impulse surfers at A tier. Can underground Light assaults kill flying maxes mid air? Yeah I thought so!!!!
Well, one of the metric about the S tier is how much people complain about it in the forum!
Actually ... They can
@@chinoYochino Yesterday I started using impulse engineer. LA does it better but it is so funny. Give your engineer impulse newton and catlike 5. Too bad you already made engineer tier list.
S tier is a bug, ping or cheat?
It's a ping thing, but I would say an engine limitation
