I normally do the London DGR and have since the 2nd year......but recently i moved to Linclnshire and a pal moved to Matlock so for a group of us who had to travel anyway the derbyshire run was the best choice. Im glad it was. Very nice people along with spectacualr scenery, a brilliantly organised ride with road closures so we could all stay grouped it reminded me of my first ever DGR. Derby will be the one for me now. Thanks to all on the day and thank you to you Konrad for posting the video
Thanks Adam, much appreciated. It's only my second DGR and I really wanted to document just how enjoyable this event was. The organiser and his marshals are incredible, from route planning to making sure the junctions are always free for the whole group to pass through. The county is really made for this, beautiful roads and great people taking part and coming out to support.
Thanks, youtube studio special! Seemed to go with the pace of the footage well. Was such an incredible route, Ive ridden sections of it many times in the past, nice to have the junctions temporarily closed off though. I cant thank the organiser and marshals enough for their tireless work on the day. Pop down to do the Derbyshire ride next year, you wont regret it Im sure.
What a glorious day for the DGR, I rode the London DGR, over 500 riders
I did the Bishops Stortford ride again this year and it was great, but your country side is fantastic!
Massively proud of Derbyshire and to have been born and bred in Gods county.
Awesome edit - we made it into your lens at about 40 seconds in!!
Thanks, Jen's the star though, she did all the recording from the bike on the day!

Tories will livid... an anti-motorist (holding upcars at junctions) mob. Lordy, y'all going to jail.
