Looks great. Just a bit of help when doing the light shades. If you use a small flashlight, place it or hang it where the moonlight will come from, and tape different color filters on it, then paint your light shades on your buildings, trees, and such. Something I learned a long time ago. Helps it to go faster.
Great techniques, and an awesome result. All the time put into the small details like the roots and shingles really paid off. The final result has a really spooky quality to it.
I'm so glad this video popped up! Just to give you a comparison, this was the first video of its kind that I didn't watch sped up to avoid having to listen to the bla bla bullsheep. I really did enjoy the build and definitely gained my following. Very talented and creative! Well done!
Got here through yt recommendation, glad I clicked on. I have a circular piece of wood from an old lamp/end table combo that has been perplexing me for years, I'm inspired to try something similar to this build on it.
Nice job, came out very well and I completely agree that drybrushing is a fantastically versatile technique that works perfectly for nearly all projects.
I follow a lot of diorama scratch build channels - This was such a lovely video to stumble apon! Love your work here and cool to see stuff that made on a computer before hand too, a lovely mix
Awesome. U should have made stormy clouds with leds inside, fallen down pieces of the tree, tiny rocks and rooftiles on the ground. Soooo much more potential. Should def become a 2 part thingy sometime. Keep it up. Going straight into the next video. Thx
Your are not a crafter but a true artist. Being a serious sculpture creator I can appreciate the involvement in your work. If you are not selected they have a real lack of taste. A fan😊
Man, I tell you what. I have been looking for a new creator to binge and I do believe I have found it in you. I will say though, I would have loved to see the tree you made, which looks great by the way, growing into the house in places, and perhaps an old decrepit swing hanging from its branch's somewhere. All in all mate, excellent job. Ill be sticking around, and keep up the great work
Yeah, the original intention was to make the tree more integrated with the house but I ran out of time. Love the idea of a swing though, didn't think of that.
Greetings, friend... I'm from Indonesia, very happy and really like all your videos, friend... continue to be enthusiastic about creating new works... once again, nice to meet you... my name is Rifai.
Adult-ing I’m committed to covering most of my beautiful 1 12th scale dolls house with lollipop sticks cut in to bricks as a facing ❤all going good then life choices I added a second house and a hall way. It’s now a 1 12th chateau 😊, several more evenings to go xox
If you want to remove fingerprints from any miliput work you do go over it with a paintbrush dipped in isopropyl alcohol and it will smooth everything out. Awesome build man!
Really nice build and the texture you get with the chinchilla sand is superb, can see that becoming a trade mark of your builds. I've wanted to do one like this with the cabin from The Evil Dead.
Such an awesome diorama! It took me less than 2 minutes to decide I like your work and queue up all your other videos to watch too. I wish your channel luck growing!
As someone who makes models, I fully appreciate the amount of work, imagination and use of different mediums and textures. Fantastic end result. Good luck with your exhibition entry.
This is excellent work! Making all those roots and Lovecraftian tendrils and cutting all those individual slats, tiles, and shingles is incredibly tedious. But there is no "Royal Road" to quality model building. And though you did use AI to help with the basic suggestion, the end result is yours and yours alone! I'll have to check out your other projects! Subscribed. 271st Like.
Another banger, brother. I don't do models or anything but I do make leather goods and often make movie inspired replicas of gun holsters, knives, book covers, etc. Your channel helps me creatively, so thank you! I also usually don't have a detailed plan, i just have a general direction to go in and see what happens.
Absolutely loved watching this liked how u explained everything you done along the way makes me think I could give making a house (very un artistic here) did I design the base shape on ds space or was it already available
This is really cool!
Thank you

Made my night having this gem turn up on UA-cam. Another great video!
Thank you, with such a gap between this and the last video UA-cam completely stopped promoting me so I thought no-one would come back.
@@dodgydioramas I'll be here for everyone. Love your work!
This is great. Some good background music to take up the silent parts would make it better
Thank you
The lights at the end really made it cool.
Brilliant timing. I just needed some advice on texturing a twisted wire tree I'm building. Thank you.

Having enough time is a major problem so I have to cut down on the ambition but multi part videos I might do.

This is stunning. If you could at some point do a piece on getting started using the Cricut for dioramas, that'd be nice. If you have time.
Thank you. I should use it again. Since getting the laser cutter, I've been using that instead, but the Cricut is a lot cheaper and works really well
