Dave, did you used to have a beard and paint landscapes on film? :) It's very relaxing to watch your videos! That model is looking really good now that I see you put it together. I wasn't sold on it from the packaging, lol. I am curious about using CA bonded to paint with paint bonded to the parts vs. glue (white or wood) bonded directly to parts. Seems the sheer strength of the CA and paint combination will be weak relative to a white glue bond of the two parts (excluding plastic). There is some discussion in a local rocket club that CA is being used in places that put the rocket at risk (especially in motor mounts) relative to using rocket manufacturer recommended glue. By the way, for tight decal application, the use of tweezers and sponge applicator works wonderfully. At 47:29 in the video, I was a bit distracted by what looks like the result of your possibly stabbing your palm with your knife :).

No stabbing, and I was never a bearded painter. This rocket doesn't have a lot of stress put on it so the CA glue is fine.
