Dr. Major Meenaxe shares her cancer fighting story along with her caregiver daughter, Heeteshi!

Major Meenaxe a remarkable individual who has always been a go-getter. From her school days, she excelled as an athlete and swimmer, representing her state and district. She dreamt of becoming a dentist and joining the army, and she achieved both. Graduating in 1995, she joined the Dental Corps in 1997 and served for ten years.
She married Uday who presently is serving as a Colonel in Army, and they have two beautiful daughters. She was awarded Chief of Army Commendation during her 10 yrs of service. After her military service, she opened a dental clinic and balanced her professional and personal life. However, in the midst of raising her children and running her clinic, she neglected her own well-being.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, she fearlessly drove to Ahmedabad to retrieve her daughter, who had been stranded alone for two months. In 2021, when her mother contracted COVID-19, she drove her to Patiala and took charge of her care. Amidst all this, her own medical diagnosis came as a shocking revelation to everyone. Diagnosed with MPAL / B Myeloid n under treatment for 2 years with a jolt of relapse in between
After a two-year battle for survival, she emerged victorious, clear from the clutches of cancer. Through the journey, she learned to stay calm and patient by embracing new hobbies.
