after miles davis, you are the one, mr landgren. you can play beautiful solo with your instrument, that seems similar to trumpet, when you play it. this is the style i have been waiting for, since miles left us. enjoy!

That's a soundman thing. Just watch a lot of concerts. Guitar -> LOUD. Drums -> LOUD. Bass -> LOUD. Vocals -> LOUD. Keys? Where? Oh yeah, right! No. Listen to the hammond solo during 'House party' takes a while before they get it and even then the guitar man has no trouble sounding louder while doing almost nothing. /frustration of a keyboard player. Having said that, fantastic music :)
I'm a big fan of Niels ,,,, I have a reference trombonist today ,,, the show is very very good, but I prefer it more in the traditional, this show with guitar and percussion persisting is very much the same as we already have in excess media ,,, very saturated ,,,, it's just an opinion ...
Ich liebe Nils Musik. Egal ob mit der Funk Unit oder als Duo Art (die "Kristallen" ist der Hammer). Aber die Texte sind doch arg flach und gehen einem nach 5-6 Longplayern langsam auf die Nerven. Ein bißchen mehr Tiefgründigkeit darf auch im Funk sein. Da wäre mal noch deutlich Steigerungspotential. Musikalisch ist das alles tippitoppi, auch die neuen Songs auf der "Funk is my religion". Aber gerade auf diesem Album sind die Texte so extrem schwach, dass man sich manchmal schon kurz vor dem fremdschämen ist.
