i just finished death note and i just realized something that light's ideals is'nt right. There was this one scene where light said that he's using the death note because he was bored and then if we move on later in the series he just wanted all bad people to be erased from existence. I think light is contradicting himself. bUT OVER ALL THIS SERIES IS FUCKING AWSOME IT GAVE ME CHILLS ON MY BACK IM NEVER GONNA FORGET DEATH NOTE

There is also an anime called Code Geass. Everyone calls him the second Death Note, most likely because of the plot (he is also very cool). I advise you to watch it if you haven't seen it!
Do watch Code Geass, it's fantastic, but Death Note is definitely better. If you haven't yet, I also recommend reading the relatively new one-shot chapter of Death Note.
