      Not sure tbh. It is a Virginia truck. They need the extra axles out there to stay legal on the roads.

    Looks good! Is there a reason you use a nylon brushes instead of microfiber or lambs whool wash mitts. Many guys say that those nylon brushes can scratch the surface. What is your opinion on that?

    • @EvanStegerMetalPolishing
      @EvanStegerMetalPolishing  5 років тому +3

      RVing with Andrew Steele as long as you aren’t scrubbing hard and you keep the brush rinsed and clean you are fine. I also polish it on a regular basis.

      Kyle Hadley usually 14-18 hours to full detail and polish. Sometimes more. Worst one I did was 54 hours. $2,000-5,000 full detail.

    My boss would have soaked everything besides the paint in acid. Frame and all. He only cuts really fast with with orange wheel and brown compound and makes us hand polish or use pneumatic DAs on everything else. He doesn’t cut anything besides a bit of the tanks and the outer part of wheels. Everyone is exhausted after having to polish out all the whiteness created by the acid. Any tips on how to make the crews job easier or how to convince my boss of trying something different?

    • @EvanStegerMetalPolishing
      @EvanStegerMetalPolishing  Рік тому

      Stop using acid. LOL No idea how to convince your boss. You can try showing him my video on the damages of acid use. Not sure if that matters or not. But honestly just talk to him. See what he says.

    Love your videos I am learning a lot, bout to get some products at Renegade.. I have started my detailing business and I have 10 trucks rn.. I am trying to grow it to 40 trucks. Is there any way I could contact you to ask you some questions or email. I’d like to have a 1on1 on growing your customers and where to find big rigs at. So far I have tried dealerships and trucking companies.

    OMG!!!! Drivers!!!! Do not, do not, do not soap up and wash your engines..... there are so many wires and sensors that are just not engineered to be pressure washed and cleaned. You can literally have a $500 detail job done and then end up spending $15000 on a breakdown.

    I disagree to bottom to up method . always top to bottom . moving dirt down otherwise ur wasteing time and not good results moving dirt around

    • @EvanStegerMetalPolishing
      @EvanStegerMetalPolishing  3 роки тому +1

      It is ok to disagree. Everyone has their own method. When soaping you should soap from bottom up as it give the product more time to work. But to each their own. If your way works then nothing wrong with it. Thanks for watching.
