Mad respect to Aunty Chua for holding her composure. We all know the Chua family was only this patient with these crazy teens because they knew they were on tv and the unspoken rule in asian culture is that you don’t scold other peoples kids seriously unless it’s needed.
You know what would be nice? A show where rebellious teens/ ppl in their 20s are sent to live with ppl of their age who are somewhat more put together Imagine having these two ppl staying with a broke stressed college student who tries their best to have a fun time? I think they'd relate a lot more to ppl their own age, idk, I feel like that would teach them more about responsibility than being stuffed into schedules
Edit: Thank you guys for 50k subs! I'm constantly amazed by all of your support and really appreciate ya'll 🥰 LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you need an escape plan.
The bird that makes that uhoh sound is called asian koel, mynah specifically javan mynah is the common bird we see which has yellow beak and black greyish feathers :)
Isn’t it the koel Birb? Cuz some random sec 1 keeps screaming an almost realistic koel birb call in the middle of school and everyone can hear it and it’s annoying af but also very funi
@@geraldkoh209 But Chinese courtesies are ruled by puns from their own language like 4=die and fish=surplus. So this rule only arose when the word for clock and terminate became the same pronunciation, especially when Mandarin became more prevalent. The wikipedia article of "送鐘/钟" (only in Chinese) explained it well. A diplomat visited Taiwan in the past caused the discussion of this, as the reactions seemed different between dialectal groups.

Oh you haven’t seen an ACTUAL STRICT sg family. Confirm die 👍 In sg parents are allowed to beat their kids with canes up to 15cm thick before its considered child abuse
so i went to rlly research on those two peps and it is actully true, memphis is now ur average adult girl and zaine is now married and have a child,he rlly did go to harvest uni at 2015 so if anyone thinks it is fake go search it edit:btw he is also buff as thicc and is now a mma person i guess but yea
I've been a big fan of yours since "searching for prawns" and just wanted to congratulate you on your first sponsor! Love your content and keep up the good work! :)
I missed the first part of this, and just "dived right in" to the second, and it was clear early on that foreign kid causing trouble, and I was here, "this is going to be one of our Aussies isn't it?" 5 seconds later: "Of course Aussies." Why can't we ever go overseas and make the news as like, "world's nicest and most respectful person today did greatness!" Aiya... we'll all be down here hiding in shame again if you need us for anything. Just in the usual hiding in shame place under the desk. We got the kettle set up there now for coffee and noodles.
Those Economics graphs were legit giving me flashbacks. As he said, "Wartime flashbacks" hahaha Hated it back then, grateful that I don't have to deal with it anymore lol
The aussie people look like the first person to die in a horror movie
Oof

11:30 Hokkien doesn't have the pun of "song zong" but Cantonese and Mandarin does. So maybe the Chua family doesn't aware of this???
its a chinese thing, not just mandarin or cantonese

I think they couldn’t get the strictest family because the family didn’t want the auzzie kids to influence their child lmao
As a Hungarian, I’m shocked that ppl consider this family strict lol like my parents are like that family and I consider them chill 💀
