I think the devs are gonna have a rude awakening when they realize what a competitve esport style community demands. considering they havent figured sound out for over 5 years now in their regular game.

why would you want to play tarkov without the looting though? its what makes it exciting. im open to try it also but I just feel like thats what makes tarkov good. if I want to play an arena shooter ill just load up cs2 or something. you think sound issues and weird bugs are annoying in a more casual setting, imagine something with those issues in such a competitive style game mode, I personally dont think arena will be very populated after a year or so.

@@Sirmellowman doing nothing but looting is incredibly boring and can be done in loads of looter shooters. the unique gunplay and pvp is the only thing that sets tarkov apart from any other game. arena harnesses exactly that and allows you to jump into fights instantly rather then one or twice per hour. this has potential to be an esport if done well; i dont understand peoples pessimism about this.

im talking about killing a juicer and taking his shit. for me thats the only thing that makes my heart rate go up anymore. fighting a dude that has tons of really expensive loot I can take. and im not trashing on it at all. im 100% going to give it a fully open minded try. just remember this is hosted on a LAN connection, no desync, just Imagin how bad this would play off LAN. Also, the audio needs some major work still. sometimes the grenades make no noise when hitting the ground and some people make no sound for some while others can hear them. the game needs a lot of work to be good.
