Love old school artisans work. The finished area looks lovely. Huge milestone to help you all feel like your living less in a worksite and more like a homestead.
I loved watching them laying the stones they look beautiful and especially after you cleaned them… I love your faucet it’s really nice well done Omar…the whole project is coming along nicely isn’t it…Simon is a godsend …xx
How wonderful to get the paving done so beautifully. It’s a joy to watch as it happens.. it’s a joy to watch Simons progress as well. I know you are both working on so much so having the pressure taken must feel like a true blessing. Cheers❤
Nowadays, I'm totally fluent, Aussi English included. I'm only 19 months' in Coimbra, but I promise I will master Portuguese in some time. Greetings !
It looks amazing they have done a great job your home is looking so nice love watching your progress puss cats have settled down they will be sun bathing on your veranda
Hi guys. Great video, thanks! Here in South Africa you can get a sealer for stone floors like that, that really makes the stones look gorgeous (It's sort of like varnish for wood). I mention it because it will make keeping them clean much easier. It also stops water seeping into the mortar which (with the baking of the sun) causes cracking over time, Just for you info in case you weren't aware of it.🙂
The result looks wonderful! Will you need to apply a sealer once the stone has cured a bit? We tend to seal things in Pennsylvania but I think that is to protect from the harsh winters.
The stone patio looks so beautiful. I'm assuming that the digital tap with the multistage filter is for consumption and the Flexitap is for washing up.
I loved watching this vision come to life. You all did a beautiful job. Maybe add a sealer coat onto the stone once they’re cleaned. It would intensify the beautiful color of the stones. Love your channel.
Wow, you can see the 40 years of experience in the incredible evenness of that floor. Amazing! On another topic, when I lived in northern CA our area rarely got truly cold (very chilly was more normal at night, even in summer) so people would extend their outdoor living area time with fireplaces or heaters; I was wondering if that is done in Portugal.
@@mrkvomiltato871 I dare to say that most Portuguese like me understands most of it, but it's not the same vice versa unless you're from the Galiza region.
Your living space is getting bigger, from single container to livable dwelling 😂 Reminds me of my friend years ago in Morocco when camping in the beach in the summer holiday time, his homemade tent starts small at the beginning of July and by the end of August it gets the size of a bus while playing guitar and smoking hash during nights 😂 Days that never come back
5:41 Talk about some stone work. Now magnify that when you are restoring and rebuilding those ols stone walls. But boy does it look great when it's all finished. 💪⚒️ 11:46 Binge watching a little out of sequence tonight. 😊 Hello from Florida. 🏖 🐬 🏄♂️ 🏄♀️ 🏊♀️🏊♂️ 🐊 🌀 🐬 🌞 🌊
I loved the entire video!! Stine floor looks great! I made a patio out of my fallen down stone boarder and incorporated the stones with the glacier rocks that are in Maine. I put 2 1/2 inch PVC pipes x4 around the outsides, but within the cement for tiki torches. The Maine state bird would carry you off, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the MOSQUITO! 😂😂😂😂. SO alot of citronella oil was burned. It was beautiful if I do say so myself! It was 15 ft x 20 ft. Yall could have had me do it for Tent and food vs Room and Board...LOL❤😂😂😂! Tell your Mum and Elf I said Olà! Though watching this on my phone, I couldn't tell who was who..lol😂 My place, excuse me, your Mums place is shapping up nicely. Did you choose a color for the big window? Oh and what brand is your/your Mother's bike? I keep forgetting bc almost everyone on UA-cam in Portugal has them now. At least that I've seen. I don't watch everyone. But your ruin fascinated me right from the start. And Omar has turned out to be a very resourceful guy!! A little of everything. Ok, I'll let you read some other comments now! Take Care! Stay Safe!! 🙏❤️🇺🇸🇵🇹⛵️👣👍🍍😊
wow! quite a long way you all have come over the past two years. I am amazed at your abilities. Fabulous ! I can't wait to see the final house remodel . Thanks for taking us along. Annmarie in Oregon
Wow the patio looks absolutely stunning and may I add that working with that stone and laying it is very difficult, Jose and Enrique are professionals. My brother in law did a chimney and a whole wall, mantel piece and floor in their living room /lounge in Rhodesia and it was a piece of art work and absolutely beautiful, like yours. What a beautiful addition and you will get so much pleasure out of it, enjoy your Sunday and have a lovely day.
It's looking so good. Great work. My parents replaced their old stone roof with slates as it was a couple of hundred years old and starting to sag. We made a patio like yours out of it.
I notice you guys are using a lot of wood, I live in Spain, and the termites here lunch on the stuff despite treatment, Portugal is more wetter than Spain in some parts wood in the flor tends to soak up damp and rots
The stone floor is amazing! Beautiful workmanship and a big transformation.
Beautiful job by these Enrique and José , the porch is gorgeous and makes a big difference 😊
I'm so sorry, but when going to hit the like button I hit the thumbs down. I immediately undid it and hit like and subscribe.
Your stone floor is absolutely stunning! 🤩

Wow, the entire place looks so different. May you have many, many wonderful gatherings there.
For first timers your skill is impressive. Also, let’s acknowledge the local men and their craftsmanship.👍🏼
No first timers. Look at their renovations in the UK.
The stone floor is a real work of art. You are making amazing progress.
Beautiful floor Andrea! Zé and Henrique do great work! Mind giving out their contact?
Definitely a 10! Beautiful 😍

Great job with the stone floor. You should use a stone sealant to protect, and bring out the different colors.

yeah you could! I have seen them around and probably would be a great addition for the winter!
Está a ficar absolutamente linda... só é pena quando acaba um video, pois eu quero ver o resto.....!!!!! Continuem com o trabalho fantástico.
I have a question. Do Portuguese people understand Spanish language?

Why do Southern Europeans build walls around everything ?
Los subtitulos de traducción no funcionan
The stone floor looks brilliant. Everything is being transformed.

Your place is starting to look amazing. Wishing you all the very best from sunny Florida
In Portuguese, the name of that man is Henrique, but he probably wouldn´t mind that you've misspelled his name.
Your ‘Crazy Paving Patio’ looks Fab!! It would have been a 10 from the lovely Len, RIP❤️ 👏👏
Thanks for posting and sharing. Your patio looks great.
Beautiful stone work. What a beautiful place to sit out on at night. Some twinkling fairy lights, meat cooking…I’m very envious.
Don’t let the cats do their business on the veggie patch for goodness sake’s
Portuguese workers can skilfully work with one handtool and a plank, and make it look easy.
