    Miquella is the twin brother of Malenia. He was the one in the egg that was taken by Mohg in the original (though you could only see his arm hanging out of it). Miquella was the one that watered the sapling that grew into the Haligtree.

      Well you can still see miquella in the story telling at the beginning of the game

    Finding scraps of paper to know the story of the world is how real life works, history is found and taught through texts. That's why I love Fromsoft games, everything is a mystery and you have to unravel it yourself.

    I wonder what you mean by the second half. For me, everything from Caelid to Altus plateau is fantastic, but I would heavily agree that the mountain tops of the giants falls off, along with crumbling farum azula. But the haligtree is fantastic.

      He probably meant azula and the mountains which I agree with, the Faram Azula is by far the most visually amazing it’s a bit boring other then Maleketh

    Literally no one else said "the 2nd half is less interesting. " lol 😂 Everything happens in the 2nd half. Lore wise, Boss fight wise, quest wise.

      I get what the person who told them that was likely saying “limgrave has the majority of the playable content so the rest of the game is less interesting” it’s a valid point but even elden rings “less interesting” is most other games peaks that those games themselves never reach and hearing from some source which could be wrong saying that the dlc is as big as the limgrave region has me even more hyped

      i absolutely agree with him, at least as far as side content. the mini dungeons that you go into for materials genuinely suck the more of them you do. bosses like the erdtree avatar are literally just asylum demons copy and pasted everywhere with more health, and they get so boring. the games second half is carried entirely by its major fights, but imo the end game bosses are a bit overtuned and spammy with attacks that have absurd hitboxes and feel like they were created just for the sake of being "hard". it loses the tightly crafted dance that you would feel from dark souls so that every attack can have ridiculous delays. ive beat the whole game twice including haligtree, but my favorite bosses in the second half were placidusax, mohg and godfrey. i dont really think i have that unpopular of an opinion either among people who were used to from soft games and not new to the series.

      Yes they did. At the very least ppl seemed less impressed with the snowy mountain tops region or Farum Azula as a legacy dungeon compared to the previous areas and dungeons. So, not so much the second half and more like the homestretch.

      2nd half is the better part. Mainly final few bosses.

      Arees that had to be the dumbest thing i have heard about this game. Every part of Elden ring was dope, challenging, new, and fun. I beat it like 6-8 times trying multiple classes/builds. Never got bored.

    Ya, it goes back as far back as at least Demon's Souls. You basically get to play amateur archeologist piecing the story together from item descriptions and NPC dialogue. The style is based on the time in Hidetaka Miyazaki's youth in which he enjoyed Western fantasy, but didn't always have the best grasp on the language. So there were always gaps in the story for him that he couldn't translate and had to fill in with his own imagination.

    It's called "game fatigue". Dont play something too consistently, otherwise you'd slowly start to get tired of it. Take breaks

      Faram azula and the mountain top of the giants aswell as the ash covered city were the worst areas I assume that’s what he meant, like you’ve got the god skin duo and the fire giant by far the worst two main bosses.

    I think the best part of the late game was going through Consecrated Snowfields and getting to Miquellas Haligtree and then going through the Haligtree was just phenomenal. The absolute beauty and creativity of that area design was just amazing, and then to cap it all off with Malenia, The Blade of Miquella, literally the most challenging From Soft Boss to date. I hope they top it in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Because that trailer already makes the DLC expansion look absolutely epic!!! Can a DLC win game of the year??? Haha....Miyazaki and From Soft absolutely nailed it again, just from the first trailer.....Incredible!!!

    The second half of the game is where it's at. Most of the major bosses and the most gorgeous areas are endgame. If anything the first half of the game has too much fluff.

    Right at the start, but- Fromsoft has always (or at least for the 13 years I've been playing their games) struggled with the endgame and then patched it up by massively delivering on great endgame content in a DLC. I'm expecting them to keep up the pattern this time too.

    • @Ghorda9
      @Ghorda9 6 місяців тому +1

      the end game remembrance bosses are really good, it's really just mountain tops that suffers. Also DS3 endgame is pretty decent before DLC.
