I don't see your diagram for the lights. I know when I looked up WJ instrument panel lights it showed them up different based on year from 99-01 and 02-04. My Jeep is 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L
@@ROCKY_TV they are all put in the right way, I had to adjust them at first. Yet once all was said and done. The o/d light went out. O/d still works, I feel the shifting when activating it.

What do I do if my illumination bulbs will not shut off unless I disconnect the battery. yes dim switch is off

check door harness for broken wires .. can cause all kinda weird problem

I did this and my over drive light went out. The overdrive itself still works, just the indicator light went out. Any suggestions?
Is the light put in correctly? I believe they’re directional and have to be a certain way. Or possibly just a bad light.

Try just swapping it with a new one might just be a bad light
