I test ride the new Factory built Surron Ultra Bee Race spec Battery and Motor, that almost doubles the power. Besides that, and a 18/21 wheel set up, this bike is completely stock.
Now that you've seen the limits on a stock bike, we need to see the limits of a fully upgraded one. I'd like to see what better suspension can do. Cheap $200 upgrade is heavier springs (26lb front, 500lb rear). Sirris just came out with $3200 high end suspension as well.
That's the hardest one of these will be ridden but good for the Sur ron company. I have the smaller brother the Surron Lightbee X black. So much fun and value. Semi quick, ultra nimble and almost 50 mph top speed with new K.O. motor and ESC. 6K investment and worth every penny.
We lovve our Ultra Bee. Also have the R-version but is this one different? We chose the R because it had a fatter 18-inch wheel in the back but strangely it came with road tyres so the first thing we did was to chage to MX tyres. But ours has the same 12,5kW peak power i think. What about your bike? Btw. Our brakes are super good, and great to be able to have regen only when braking. Our brakes dont squeel like yours.
Trails and smaller tracks is what it thrives on in stock form. But as they just added a massive power gain thru this plug and play upgrade kit. My next upgrade will be suspension
Ride for 20-30 mins, charge for 2-3 hours. Maybe longer as fast charging can damage the 18650's. Nice thing is that if you get a thermal run away, you will be on the dirt which is hard to burn.
He's testing the upgraded prototype of a new Surron ultra bee variant. Has more power and probably better suspension as well. Possiblly better tyres and rims setup.
stock suspensions till looks a little soft. at 4:11 he's just coasting up a hill and bottomed out lol. Idk, I think the Ultra Bee is probably a great bike but it's kinda in no-mans land. At $6.5k plus all the power and suspension upgrades you'd want, might as well just get a Varg if you want to get serious or one of the smaller e-motos if you just want to putt around.
You can get 2 stock Ultra Bees for the price of a Varg. Stock, I think it' a great beginner or casual dirtbike. Lightly upgraded with 18/21 wheels and bigger sprocket is the sweet spot for most. Heavily upgraded is more niche, but still lighter and smaller than a Varg so it depends what you're going for. I love my heavily upgraded Ultra Bee for New England hare scrambles. The more technical the trail, the more at home the bike feels.
It's like a 125, but the top end is on the bottom lol. It has 125 top end power from a dead stop then tapers off. It's a pretty small wheelbase and very narrow so kinda like a 125 and trials hybrid bike.
A 125 2 stroke would be a lil faster on top speed. This bike clocks in just under 60mph with the current gearing. But it has much quicker response time. I would guess that I would holeshot the 125 class on that start straight
damn air filter must be caked after that

I just don’t understand why they aren’t selling this thing as a bike instead of a separate kit you gotta buy
Shredding bro!!!

Hell yeah dude!!!
What’s it designed for? Is it trail/mountain bike genre? Is it strong enough for soupy jumps?

Suspension upgrades are the next thing I will be testing
Whats the weight?
Seems R-version is 93kg. T-version 85kg.
Would you compare it to a 125?
