Thanks for this video - it was really helpful to see what the track is like. We did Mt Mitchell a week ago and it is so beautiful! The view from the top is amazing. It took us about 4 hours including rest stops, lunch at the top and stopping to taking photos ☺️
I loved Mt Cordeaux last time I was there, but I'd actually forgotten how great it is. Glad to have this reminder, I'll have to get out that way again!
Aw thanks mate, it really is a beautiful spot! I actually had it recommended to me and couldn’t believe what a good spot and easy climb I’d been missing. Definitely get out there and check it out again if you get the chance 😄
Thankyou Laura, loving your videos, I am from Brisbane, have been past a LOT of the places you have shown. Glad you have shown them, I would go and visit them now,as tehy are reaonabbly local to me.
Thank you, appreciate your comment! I’m really glad you’re enjoying them and hopefully you’ll get to check out some of these places for yourself soon ✨⛰
Thank you! Im on a bit of a schedule to head up north to the Whitsundays then I can take it a little slower. Can’t wait to see the next places you guys tick off 🙌🏼
@@LauraWaddellTravel awesome! I’ve heard the Whitsundays are really screaming out for tourists at the moment so they will be happy to have you I’m sure!! We went there for our honeymoon and it was beautiful 😍 enjoy!
Great video Laura! How good is Mount Cordeaux!? 🙌🏼🌿👌🏻 Last time I was there, we hiked in the dark for sunrise! 😳😂 Sketchy, but it was worth it for those views! Safe travels legend! 👊🏼
Gotta love a sunrise hike 👌🏼 I heard the view from here at sunrise is beautiful so hope it was a clear morning for you!! Thanks mate, enjoy your travels also! 🌱✨
New evidence has surfaced, your actually walking on a ancient damaged building. All mountains are old damaged buildings. The waterfalls are the plumbing that is still working.
Hey Philip, thanks for your comment however I’m a little lost as to which section you’re talking about? It was a little while ago I did this hike but from memory if you are talking about just the Mt Cordeaux section then the track leads to the lookout I’ve featured here. I think you’re right that there was a higher point however personally on popular tracks like this I believe it’s impossible for hikers to stay on the tracks to avoid damaging the surrounding vegetation. Hope that helps (:
@@LauraWaddellTravel The track up from the lookout's still there, past a couple of grass trees and keep going. Although sure QPWS discourages its use as there is some exposure.
Oh how interesting, thanks for the tip! As I said I unfortunately didn’t notice it when I was there so if I get to do it again I’ll definitely make sure to have a look, it really is a beautiful hike!
Great video Laura !!! Appealing personality 😊
Well done Laura! This was a great presentation and I'll definitely be putting this walk on my To Do list.
That was wonderful thanks again. I enjoyed your work... and am adding to my scenic rim walk bucket list LOL 😆
Nice video Laura, stunning views :) I still need to do this hike!
