almost 300 dollars later I am skeptical. Followed all the instructions, turned it on in a room that has days of dust and pet dander in it. It stayed yellow for about 10 seconds then turned green. Am I supposed to believe that the room is now purified?

Mine isn’t turning on straight out of the box, any advice? I can’t find a reason why
