I just bought 2 and I am so far very pleased with the product. I have 2 GSD and they can be very hairy.
We have several air purifiers along with two dogs. The dust is down inside our house. Just changed the filter. Amazing how much dirt and particles were in the filter. I give this unit a good housekeeping seal of approval.
How about the pet filter? Does that work? Also very well. Do you have videos about it?
Does anyone know if you can manually remove the filter periodically & clean it off, instead of having to replace it too soon ??
I’m not an expert but personally I think that’s perfectly acceptable and I do it from time to time. Keep in mind these companies depend on selling you new filters as part of their business model. I look at it this way….i can clean off/vacuum the filter and that will inevitably reintroduce some particles back into the air…but if the purifier is good it’ll just suck them back in again.
The concern is that the HEPA filter may become less effective if you do this too many times. I imagine it depends on how dirty your air is, and how much air you're trying to clean (room size). Unlike other HEPA filters I use, this changes all three filters at once. Some air filters keep track of how much air is being cleaned to need new filters. This one seems(?) to just rely on a timer.
After you change the filter out, how do you reset the air purifier because it keeps saying I need to replace the new filter

you have to hold down the "replace filter" for a very long time (> 10 sec) before it resets. (This video briefly mentioned that).

Do you know how long each setting (low, medium, fast) takes to purify the air?
I just bought one of these for my bedroom. I leave it on high when I'm away.. and set it on low when I'm in the room. I got it for dust and noticed a huge difference within hours. I read that the 1,100 sq/ft coverage rating is bs. But it works fine in small to medium size rooms.
Should I leave a door or window open for draft or does it work well without doing that?
open a window if air quality outside is better than inside. open a door to another room if you want to clean that rooms air also.
