Thanks for showing the inside of the filter and unit. These filters seem to get replaced every 3 months at $56 each - or $41 each if you have them shipped automatically every 3 months - seems expensive - Thanks!👍

I need Help. I hope u can. Or anyone please. My son is highly allergic to my GF's Huskies. Will this or any filter help my son be able ti be in the same house with them? Even if he isn't always in contact with them. Just in the same house?

I'm looking for a filter because my neighbor has a giant size outdoor fireplace and my whole neighborhood smells of smoke. When we open the door it gets in the house and causes massive headaches (allergic to trees). What do you suggest. Also would like something good for pet dander.

How come when I plug it in the light is yellow then when I set it for the fan spped high or med it turns green the light has never changed color I was wondering is this working correctly I noticed on you video the light was yellow also then you changed the fan speed it turned green...My question is why isnt it showing yellow once plugged in I know there is plenty of dust in the one room should I return it>

I'm getting these for my home workshop. Since it's in a non ventilated room, I feel I need the better filter. I can't find any specs on cfm though.
It's not a 250 cfm unit, which is the minimum CFM I recommend even for small rooms
@@applisense what is the cfm on these though? They claim 1115 square feet. Wouldn't that be over 250 cubic feet?
@@jessehavok4181 My guess is about half of 250 cfm. They might be good for a small washer/dryer rooms but that's about it in my opinion
I have heard you should have a number of air changes per hour in most indoor spaces… maybe 6? Whether that number is correct may depend on space usage, number of occupants, etc. Thinking the cubic feet per minute (CFM) number (which is how many cubic be feet of fresh air comes into a space) could be divided into the the room volume number to tell you how many minutes it would take your HVAC unit to give you one air change; a 100 CFM unit being delivered to a 1,000 cubic foot space would take 10 min to complete 1 air change and give you 6 air changes per hour.

these things suck. you will have to change the filter every three months whether it needs it or not. I have changed mine three times and now i have to do it again. such a sham. i reccomend the winex 5500,it's only twenty dollars more and has a fan like loud speaker. i have two of them. they blow this thing out of the water
