What most people are failing to realize, the outrage about their insistence on privacy flies in the face of what they allowed, and actually sanctioned, against Meghan. The media has tried to consume Meghan whole with outrageous vitriol borne out of lies that started with Kate and William.

I was 43 when I was diagnosed with 3 cancers at once, ovarian that spread to uterus and cervix. Been cancer free for 12 yrs now. I pray they found hers in time. After my surgery, my chemo was preventive with 6 rounds.
Cancer can spread fast. I watched my mother in law a beautiful woman go from a beautiful lady to a vegetable in three months. It was devastating. Very said.
Glad for your success! My grandmother was diagnosed with uterine cancer in her 40’s. They used a tampon like cylinder filled with radium in her vagina for 3 days(strict isolation. Food was literally slid under the door) she dropped from 97 lbs to 65 lbs within weeks. She went home to eat my grandfather’s cooking & after gaining some strength & weight went to surgery. She had many things removed or resectioned and went home. She lived cancer free for another 40+ years.
Her whole success was her attitude. When told what she had her reply was “What are you going to do about it man? I’ve got grandbabies I want to see grow up”. I’m sure she had her down times, but her life’s attitude was get going times wasting.

You're implying, then, that those who die simply have a bad attitude. Additionally, it's a shame that those who treated her are given no credit, as well.
Though I'm sure very terrifying, that does not sound as if you were diagnosed with 3 separate cancers. It sounds more like you were diagnosed with ovarian cancer that had metastasized. When a cancer spreads to a different organ, it is still the same type of cancer, only metastatic... meaning that it had spread.
Let's say a person has lung cancer and it spreads to their brain. They will, at that time, actually have lung cancer in their brain. But that will not turn into brain cancer (although they will have cancer in their brain). Actual brain cancer will consist of cancerous brain cells, not cancerous cells from another part of the body.
The actor, Ryan O'Neal, had 3 types of cancer. He had leukemia, prostate cancer, and previous to that, melanoma.

Three of my doctors recommend that I get a colonoscopy. When I had a consult with the surgeon, I asked why every one of my docs seemed so passionate about this and she said there has been a big increase in colon cancer and no one knows why. (Not saying Catherine has this, just making the point about an increase in colon cancer rates ... get your colonoscopies!)

I'm guessing pancreatic cancer, stage 1 or 2 and that she had the Whipple surgery. That would match her hospitalization time and post-hospitalization recovery time expected. I think they knew she had this cancer, did this major surgery hoping they got it all, and so there wouldn't be any need to disclose it to the public. This surgery will cause a lost of 5-10% of your body weight post surgery, as well. Then they found out they didn't get it all, hence the need to just come out with it as she did today. I hope she beats it, whatever it is, she seems like a very nice person and she has those 3 adorable young kids to raise. Very tragic to see someone so young, so full of vitality, struck down this way...
@jackrabbit6515. I too think the major abdominal surgery was for a deep abdominal cancer. I hate to think that it’s pancreatic, because the prognosis isn’t great. Hopefully they caught it early, if it is that type of cancer. . Obviously nothing was visualized during the operation. However the segments of tissue later revealed cancer. I’m wishing her all positive thoughts flowing in her direction. Having a cancer diagnosis isn’t a death sentence. I know there is so much fear surrounding that word. I hope that she leans on attempting to heal herself, not only with chemo, but applies mind-body medicine to her regimen of treatment….meaning meditation, prayer, yoga ….whatever helps. She spoke of spiritual healing as well. She seems to be on the right path. I wish her well, because she has 3 young kids to raise along with her husband. This is tough!!

Pancreatic cancer is a bitch. That’s not it, sorry. That cancer has done a person in within 3-6 months, treatment or no.
This is being misunderstood. I read it that tissues removed during surgery (which are sent to the lab for testing during the surgery) showed no cancer. But, when examined during her recovery cancer was found & the edges of the tissue were clear (no cancer). Then as a preventative measure she is being given chemo to reduce the risk of any they could have missed.
It’s common these days to give a once daily pill to people with certain types of cancer to do just that.
I’m a retired nurse. I have my suspicions as to what it could be & if you think back over her medical history you can find it yourselves.

my life has changed in ways that can't be described.. yesterday I told my husband I'm so ill that I feel I will pass away .. I have severe head pains that are getting chronic worse and now due to see a neurologist . I suffer from migraines but these are not same as usual these are not normal and frightening..
I started feeling sick within 1 yr after the shots.. now I'm very concerned and scared for I'm not well and I'm not even old..

What about those majority ordinary citizens who cannot afford or access to the best medical staff, care and treatment? Are the lives of ordinary citizens less important to the country?

Although cancer treatment is free in UK under NHS, only the aristocrats, monarchy like Kathy can get quick diagnosis and early detection because they get the best of the best team of doctors and top priority treatment, with a very good chance of recovery. However right now in UK , there is actually a long waiting time for ordinary citizens for cancer treatment after the diagnosis. One study showed a 4 week delay lead to 6% to 8% increased chance of dying. This is why I feel more for the ordinary citizens.

It is to help prevent reoccurrence. Sister had this chemo after removal of cancer.
They can cut all the cancer out but they'll still do radiation and chemo just to be certain, its gone. That's what happened to me.
However when you google “ preventative chemo” it comes up as “adjuvant chemo “spoken about by many doctors that is used in later staged tumours. One doctor said preventive chemo wasn’t a thing?
