How were you first introduced to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity? Be sure to check out these great books to learn more about her: www.icspublications.org/collections/elizabeth-of-the-trinity
Another wonderful, enlightening CarmelCast. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and Carmelite spirituality! I first met St. Elizabeth of the Trinity when our Carmelite Secular Order Community read her writings published by ICS years ago. We have since revisited her, and every time we read her, I feel a great love for her! I am looking forward to getting a copy of Volume 3 of her Collected Works when it becomes available! Any idea when that might be??
@@ICSPublications I have been trying to find Vol. 3 of her complete works, but have had no success. Was it ever released? Is there any way to get a copy??
Thank you for this video on St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, dear friars. I think I may have found another heavenly friend to ask for prayers in discerning my own vocation. Carmel has always been number one in my mind. Wishing you a blessed feast of St. Elizabeth in advance! Praised be Jesus Christ! 💙
Thank you Fr. Michael Joseph and Br. Joseph for this wonderful talk on St. Elizabeth of the Trinity. Your suggestion to read her works, or to re-read them was a good one. Our community read her major spiritual writings this year, and your talk has encouraged me to go back and take another look at some of the passages you highlighted in your talk. Thank you and God bless you! And Happy Feast!
Thank you for this intro to a saint and mystic I only just discovered this morning. An inspiring conversation. I will be following up with reading her writings.
Thank you, This video came (really in a providential way) into my life at a moment of great spiritual need. So true, to seek out our Lord's presence at all times. I do that and it makes a world of difference during my personal trials.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful souls of Carmelite order from ! Holy Spirit has a way to get us on the Jesus path . Have a story about craving a caramel candy 2 yrs ago.💐
Yes remaining in the Trinity, that innet relationship, is a very sacred call. I am married and so cannot become a nun. However , Saint Elizabeth teaching helps me better imagine how to have a monastic space in my days. Can you speak to how you use her teaching during the time of Coronavirus? May you continue to enjoy the close pleasure of Gos’s constant presence. How marvelouse is the indwelling of Gods spirit when we seek to renain beside the throne of God....sitting in God’s lap :)
Well, what a discovery to come upon your website! Thank you both for this wonderful video and I look forward to listening to every word in future ones. St. Elizabeth of the Trinity is a huge favourite with me as is St. Therese. I have over 12 books on her spirituality but they are all in French so I'm limited in passing them on to others if they do not read French.. God bless you both and may you always remain close to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
I have a book about the teachings of Elizabeth of Dijon and found it to be deep and profound. It is something that I have had for years and have had to return to it many times. I am sure I will continue to review certain sections that I have not yet mastered, or should I say haven't mastered me?
Yes, St. Elizabeth's spirituality is incredibly deep. If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend Joanne Mosley's great 2 volume study on the life and spirituality of Elizabeth. It did a lot to deepen my own appreciation and love for St. Elizabeth: www.icspublications.org/products/elizabeth-of-the-trinity-the-unfolding-of-her-message-volume-1?_pos=3&_sid=569b8da05&_ss=r
Thank you. This was very helpful. I am being received into full communion on Sunday the 25th and the Holy Spirit led me to Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity to be my saint name.
