The accessibility for connecting a subwoofer is a neat plus. If I didn’t already have my Focal 6’s...I’d definitely consider these monitors. Btw....CONGRATULATIONS SWEETWATER ON THE NEW $52.5 Million DISTRIBUTION CENTER !! 👍🏻
@@DatAnydeks I had a pair of Alpha 8"' and I didn't like them, but the Shape and Solo's are awesome. Just a bit pricey though compared to the Yamahas lol
@@tcos332 i own the Alpha 65, do you think these Dynaudio speakers are a step up? I make Hip hop/trap music (dont know if they are good for this type of music). I wonder if they have a good bass response (i dont want to use a subwoofer) . The Alpha 65 has a vary good bass (40Hz) and these Dynaudio 42Hz . I also like the Dynaudio LYD7 but they have only 45hz bass response so thats not for me. Can you give me some advice? Thanks PS: from what i just saw the Dynaudio monitors are used mainly for rock/guitar type of music ...................... didnt see so far much Hip hop/trap/Electronic producers to use dynaudio speakers :(
Hmm i have the mkii but pretty sure they say “made in denmark”. The mkiii i dont see and “made in” on the back. Just chinese writing. Not a good sign. Do you know where they make them now? Thanks
I have these bad boys and the low end is tight and glorious but... my mixes aren’t translating that well to headphones as they use to when I had my Presonus E5’s. I guess I’m just not used to them yet???? It’s giving me anxiety!
Dynaudio monitors are not flat. They make music sound better than it is. This is the reason you are struggling!. I would advise you to buy hs80/hs8. Your mixes will improve.
hi.. Can i use both of the 2 audio inputs simultaneously with these dynaudio bmIII monitors ? I mean can i conect and use XLR and RCA imputs at the same time with 2 different audio device outputs?
Hey, ADGamer! Josh here at Sweetwater… Thanks for the inquiry! Great question. The Dynaudio BM5 is a single input, so you can't have dual inputs going into it. Though, what are you trying to send to it? What interface are you using? Let me know and give me a holler at my number below. We'll figure it out! Using for drum and bass production and for everyday listening. Great sound.
I use these for home stereo and they sound amazing! I don't know how Dynaudio can do it at this price.
chinese plate amp...and good but "basic" woofer/tweeter
I use this monitors in my home studio. They are beautiful, bang for a buck !

Never hurts to have a second reference pair tho 😉... I’m considering doing these on my desk with my HS’8’s on floor stands
@@tcos332 I do have a reference pair. My older Event monitors that still work well after 12yrs. The Focals are great 👍🏻

How do they compare to Eris 5 Xt?
What are the best monitors or speakers for electric drums?
I use a 15" mackie thump. Those are affordable, light and powerful and can handle the bottom end of a kit.
Is this a better option than the LYD7? I don't mix or master anything, it would be just for computer audio output to listen to music while working.
Nope the LYD7 are superior….but not that superior.

Solution: Sonarworks. If not your headphones are crap

Yes you can but they have diferent sensitivity and rca would be louder than xlr and i dont recomand doing that
Does the Power port have ground ? Looks like a two pin.

2:25 why is the writing in Chinese?
