As the UK and Ireland distributor for Dynaudio’s PRO range of studio monitors, we thought we’d provide you with a brief introduction to the Dynaudio brand, along with a run-through of the different models available fromn Dynaudio’s PRO range speakers and subwoofers.
In this video - the first of a series covering the entire PRO lineup from Dynaudio - we take a look at the three speakers that make up the BM Classic range!
Dynaudio have been building high-performance loudspeakers in Denmark for over 40 years, with the Danish manufacturer developing speakers (and drivers) for a variety of different applications throughout an illustrious history.
Dynaudio is widely recognised as one of the most iconic names in pro audio, and whose monitors can be found in world renowned facilities such as AIR and Abbey Road, along with hundreds of others worldwide.
Needless to say, Dynaudio studio monitors are trusted by award-winning producers and musicians the world over, and have been used to mix countless hit records, as well as film soundtracks, TV Series and live broadcast events.
Despite the many new advanced technologies being developed by Dynaudio Labs, the enduring popularity of the BM Series has led Dynaudio to continue their production to this day.
With roots harking back to the late 1990s, three of the original models - the BM5, BM6A and BM15A - remain available under the title "BM Classic", and can still be found in top music, film, broadcast and post-production studios worldwide.

I have 3 BM6As MK1. They sound great, mastered over 700 Albums with them!
I have the BM5 MKIII and I am super satisfied as I use them for listening only
The BM5 MK III is a great monitor, it's still one of our favourites in Dynaudio's PRO range!
How would you compare to the bm6a?
@@filipkrstevski5449 I've owned the BM6A MK II for years. I've been nothing but thrilled with them and feel they were worth the extra premium over the comparable BM5's... they sound richer and fuller while maintaining excellent accuracy. Tons of great used finds everywhere. Best of luck.
@@MrVara411 well yes but mkiii version is different and I was specific between those two what is the difference but thank you for you answer
Masterfully done introduction.
I compared the BM5 MKIII to the LYD 7 in a store (not ideal, I know), and to my ears, the BM5 sounded much better, I don't know how both translate in a mix, but for listening to music, I think the BM5 is better.
If you want a better set of monitors, go with the LYD 48, different league and different price.
Amen
Hi I still use my BM5's since 2010. They still sound great to me but I do wonder how long they will last.
I like the old branding on my legacy BM15As better - Dynaudio Acoustics -
I'm glad they abandoned the look of the AIR serie. The new CORE serie is much more Dynaudio DNA approved!!
