Hi there, I saw your vid. I've been truck camping since the mid 80's. Here's what I've learned & I'll pass them on to you. Some of this you may already have, do, or know about. 1) Get stuff you need at a camping store for backpacking. It's small, compact, & light weight. 2)Get splash guards for your truck. It'll help keep you & your rig clean. They work. I know. Till then Drive safe. 🤠
I slept in the bed with a topper, untill something hit against the side of the truck one night. No damage to ever be found. No dents or a single scratch on the truck, but it moved the rear wheels an inch to the passenger side!

I’m 6’4 and I can lie diagonally without uncomfort in an F150. I have a different trim than the guy in this video, which my cab is smaller. Even so, it’s snug but feasible
I am trying to figure out my bed in my F150. I tried once b4 to sleep in it & it was tough. I had a ford sport trac, so much easier to sleep in as the back seats folded flat. But my f150 does not, than there is the boom box so its not a flat back, & I also use the truck to haul animals so not really sure how to do this but i just cant afford rent anymore. More so, I dont want to. Im betting having tinted windows helps so much. I think I should have stuck out the roof top tent.. for the bed maybe

Highly reccomend double baggin or gettin an airtight bag for dirty clothes so they dont bake n funk up the clean clothes
U should get one of those safes that go in the glove box or under the middle seat can put the peak and the strap in there safely

So since I added the extra foam piece I can lay fully stretched an angle but I’m a side sleeper so when I’m on my side I fit perfect; 6 feet tall

There is a new device called "Jackery". It's a heavy-duty power station. Connect a heater to it. Might be useful for people living in their trucks
