As an old Eldar player, I wish for this every time a new rumor comes out. And have been disappointed for years. So much so that I no longer play. But still listen to the fans who put out content, but not GW itself.
My time within the Inquisition Ordo Xenos have brought many mysteries onto my table, but the Phoenix Lords are outright legends. The Eldar are an old race, and one that many within the Inquisition will be correct to assume that they are mysterious and cryptic when it comes to their ways and even more so with its legends. The Phoenix Lords are often compared to the Primarchs of the Great Crusade, but in truth the Phoenix Lords are myths that were brought to life again and again with no explanation, and that is what terrifying about them, they cannot die.
If GW actually released a Shining Spear and/or Warp Spider Phoenix Lord, that might actually be a good way to advance the narrative for the Ynnari. They left off on such a bleak, hopeless note that something as inspiring as the return of a long-lost Phoenix Lord could catalyze some heroic action. The idea of getting those models might be as bleak and hopeless as the Ynnari's current chances....but a man can dream dammit!
My idea is a little different to revitalize the ynnari, have them work to save Isha in Nurgle’s garden, give them an active God to help them against slaanesh and also can’t have death without life, this could also be Phoenix lords return as they find them in a corner of the warp

I’m a big Eldar fan and I’ve been waiting for this. Awesome. Always loved the Eldar from the first edition to now, though they have been cruelly neglected by GW. Some hints this may be changing, which would be a blessed boon.
Always love hearing about the Eldar. Though the Elves of Tolkien will always be my favorite, the Craftworld Eldar are definitely a runner up for that spot along with the Mer of Elder Scrolls. Great work man.
Ah, I see you are a fellow fan of ludicrously deep Worldbuilding/Lore. I hereby tip my fedora in respect, sir. 🎩🧐(Yes, that’s technically a top hat, but hey- details. Blame those commie rubes at Apple for not making a fedora emoji.) I would’ve hesitated to place any modern mythos, save perhaps D&D (specifically Forgotten Realms) and (formerly) Marvel/DC *Comics* and the Star Wars EU (cough, #PeterParkerIsSpiderMan, cough, #DarthRevanIsTheGOAT, cough, #DisneyIsThe5thChaosGod, cough...), anywhere near the level of Tolkien/40k, but years of excellent content from the likes of FudgeMuppet, Camelworks, et al (highly recommended btw) have convinced me that The Elder Scrolls is deserving of a place at least neighboring those bespoke juggernauts. In terms of sheer depth, near clinically neurotic attention to detail, and more or less occasional bits of unapologetically absurd awesomeness, it -checks- ticks all of the boxes. And before anyone questions the latter’s presence in Tolkien, I would like to remind everyone of that time when a guy in a flying wooden boat shot a Dragon with laser beams described as possessing the concentrated power of *the Sun* and Moon, which said Dragon found ‘mildly inconvenient’, necessitating that said guy in said boat shoot said laser beams at said Dragon nonstop for an entire weekend, after which said Dragon finally deigned to fall from the sky, and in so doing, crushed *multiple* mountains under its body, for it was a *very* big Dragon- it was, in fact, the very biggest Dragon ever made in the history of Dragons. Its bigness simply *cannot* be overstated. As those dang kids these days would say, he was a “chunky boi”. And this is why the man in the flying wooden boat had to shoot him with *Sun lasers* for the entire weekend. That is a thing that happened. Some might call that ‘silly’. But it was still awesome. And that’s what matters. So there’s that. However, while Tolkien’s Elves are Based AF, and the Eldar are pretty badass (when they’re not being jerks, which is often- but still), but the Mer of Elder Scrolls are a bunch of insufferable, hating, stuck up fascist pricks who think they can go around telling my Nord brothas they ain’t allowed to worship *Mighty Talos* and that is un-freaking-acceptable, I hate them, screw the Empire, screw the Aldmeri Dominion, the only good elf is a dead elf, #SkyrimForNords, #UlfricDidNothingWrong, #AurielLiedLorkhanDied. But they do have solid Lore. They suck, I hate them, and they’re evil jerks- but they’re *well-written* sucky evil jerks. That is an important distinction.

Imagine if in TT banshee masks either: did as they used to and prevent first turn fighting, or caused a leadership test and failure led to mortal wounds (even against those who know no fear) (and ideally there were ways to lower leadership in CW Eldar)
This makes a weekend shift much more tolerable ❤ And puts the money thus earned in very real danger of becoming another army, which is a very, very, very bad idea, stop thinking about it, lalala, gods, do they sound like fun.

First minute in and I remember why I love the Eldar
i am not allone on this woldship? :) thanks
I’m a big Eldar fan and I’ve been waiting for this. Awesome. Always loved the Eldar from the first edition to now, though they have been cruelly neglected by GW. Some hints this may be changing, which would be a blessed boon.
I like the eldar content. I'm sure the views don't always hit the mark but whenever you can afford I'd love to see more.
Always love hearing about the Eldar. Though the Elves of Tolkien will always be my favorite, the Craftworld Eldar are definitely a runner up for that spot along with the Mer of Elder Scrolls. Great work man.
Truth. I’m a huge Tolkien fan. His elves are best. Full stop. :)
Exarchs are merely the dedicated experts of the Aeldari Home Defense Force's Warrior Temples.
Ooooohhhh! I nice long one ! These are always amazing , cant wait to listen to this today! Thanks buddy , your hard work entertains me more than anything else
Thank you for another video
Baldemort upload AND it's my favorite Craftworld units?! Must be my birthday! =D
Amazing work, Brother!! Loved every second of this narration! Thank you so much for your hard work!
Love your work as always sir - blessings upon you an and Mrs B 🙏 and as ever, my thanks 😊
I don't know a lot about Eldar, but I don't care what it's about. If Balders made it, I watch it and every single time I enjoy it.
Luv me Balders.
ThNks brother Babel. As always. It is very appreciated indeed!!
Dear uncle Baldy, (lore with passion?) without doubt, about the most honest 3 words stated on the whole t'internet, and then you give us Aspect Warriors, there's a lot here I wasn't aware of, so that made my weekend very strong (see what I did there?) perfect Friday night viewing and listening, than you sir.
I know this is late but this is what I have been looking for, I have listened to this video multiple times while at work. I loved how the Aeldari looked and I had trouble finding lore videos to listen while at work. I want to try get in to painting some miniatures and with this video it has made me even more invested into the Aeldari, thank you for this great video.
Adding another comment for the algorithm, on my second watch through, thanks again for posting this!
Love the content. Wishing for this kind of love from GW. Thank you.
Eldar trickery.
I personally think that these pointy-earned bastards deserve nothing but a 20 mm rocket-propelled grenade between their abominable eyes ;)
Once again Loremaster Baldemort brings us absolutely awesome lore content.
May the Emperor forever keep you from the clutches of Games Workshop (or if GW has any sense, which they don't, they'd hire you and conduct you in the deepest of mysteries)
I love it and your easily understandable explanation with your enduring enthusiasm...
This is top notch lore. Thanks so much!
Appreciate your high standard of quality and the effort you put into your videos baldy. Thank you!
Nice, hour and half video about the Eldar, it'll make the drive home fun.
Not gonna lie, this video made me want to run an eldar army. Great work as Always!
Again great job 👏 always happy to see what you present
So much work went into this..well done Baldy!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m about to start a primarch dnd campaign this weekend and I was going to add in eldar and Phoenix lords so this comes at a great time. Thank you! 🙏🏾
I'm glad I finally had time to listen to this, It's hard to find good Eldar lore videos, ESPEACIALY this in-depth and of high quality.
Love your videos and I always respect how wide-ranging your choice in topics are. The 40k universe is both vast in scope and deep with content, so I can imagine how difficult it can be to tackle portions of it in a manageable fashion. You take great care to showcase the best parts of each faction and it really shows your love the universe.
As always, thank you for your work and great videos.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Imagine if in TT banshee masks either: did as they used to and prevent first turn fighting, or caused a leadership test and failure led to mortal wounds (even against those who know no fear) (and ideally there were ways to lower leadership in CW Eldar)
Always a pleasant surprise to hear some quality Aeldari content!
welp. i was just about to leave my flat for a friends place. then you upload. guess im roughly 1h22m33s late. you marvellous entity you.
This makes a weekend shift much more tolerable ❤
And puts the money thus earned in very real danger of becoming another army, which is a very, very, very bad idea, stop thinking about it, lalala, gods, do they sound like fun.
Thank you! Sir Baldermort.
I'm happy to know in this controversial time in the hobby I can find enjoyment in your videos. And thank you for covering the main element of the Craftworld Eldar that made me want them as my main army
I really like the Aspect Warriors. Wish they had more types of Eldar sub-cultures. Such as those devoted to Isha and their eternal search for her. Devoted to healing and neutering life.
Yeah it could be called 'philosophies' instead of just Craftworlds traits for an army, you know, add some spice to what you can do.
Thank you , BM .
🐺
Took my first COVID vaccine shot yesterday. I’m tired, have a headache, and my arm hurts. Watching this video is so relaxing
I love how literally everything is "one of the deadliest in the whole setting" 🤣
A rare look at the ancient Aeldari, yes please!
This is perfect, thank you Baldermort I am going to enjoy this durring my lunch break! I don't know a lot about Eldar so I am going to be happy to learn!
Great video and I wish GW gave the Aldari the love and scary feeling you do in combat. Against regular humans they are terrifying. only against Astartes do they not look so terrifying.
Everything is terrifying against regular humans
@@shadowlord1418 Rebels, Cultists, Tau not including battlesuits, mutants, and many others are not really that scary just SciFi scary. Orks, Tyranids, GeneStealers, Demons, Astartes, Necrons, and so many other Xenos are true horror though.
Your usual excellent quality Mr Baldi
I did miss it not having an aeldari (read drukhari lol) storyline
Wonderful! I was starting to think that you were taking every effort to avoid talking about the Eldar.
Alas, I do. Because they get very few hits and cripple the channel for weeks. :(. It’s deeply disappointing as I adore Eldar. But if people don’t watch........ example / this video is dying a death. About half my usual hits.
People won’t watch my Eldar vids. Sorry, but that’s how it is. :(
Such a shame that people are more interested in generic basic humans than something as perfect as the eldar. But I understand your reasonings.
It is a good day indeed when I am able to enjoy the works of one of the bards the dark future!
1,000 blessings upon you humble servant may these next millennia see you in good health
Shout out to the Zandros Massiv!!!!
Thanks for that Balders!
I feel that the either the Eldar were an incomplete war-creation, rushed, or even haphazardly created - because the Old Ones really overlooked several fatal flaws of their psychic weapon - which should have been ractified easily; given the Old One's mastery of genecraft.
Only half way through and loving this already. No doubt I'll give it a full re-watch more than once. Epic stuff as always, the more Eldar the better imo 👌
Wow, a tremendous tale of Lore Sir. Thank You for your skill and hard work:)
Thank you for the encouragement, it was needed
