Nice review. The VQ Agwagon I'm putting together looks nice but mine has a few small issues. The landing gear holes were not lined up correctly and hung over the sheeting area towards the center of the fuselage. I tried each gear on both sides but it was still off. I had to elongate one hole in one and drill a new hole for the other. I also had some of the control hors that the holes didn't line up, bad stamp I'm guessing. The plane does look real impressive. I did fine adding a piece of light ply to the top of battery trey gives it some strength but also allows to remove some of the bottom part of the trey where the strap goes so it can still slide easily into position.
Bravo - thanks for the honest review and including the "Dead" weight item in this review - its a nice looking aircraft - tell you what that road noise is crazy - skid skid, I have the Dynam Dusty version (Foam not Balsa)..
I’ve been waiting for this model a long time to restock, got one of the few that recently went on sale, have watched the video but need clarification on exactly how much additional weight in needs on the nose w a 5000mah lipo? I thought I heard 250 grams? Is that correct? I do have some 4.5” dubro pneumatic tires I’m Gonna put on it, those are heavy. Like 12 oz each. Will it still need lead in the nose with those? Kind thx Stuart, great review 👍
Awesome review! One of the best looking kit planes I've seen in a while. I've never even considered a crop duster in RC format, but I suddenly find myself about to click the purchase button on the HK website 🤣
Speaking of tings not to do in air... I accidentally shut of my transmitter because I couldn't find my trim while I was looking up 🤣🤣 luckily it was a glider and I managed to turn it on before it hit the ground and save it 😅. Loved the review and it really is a great looking plane, I would like to see how it does towing gliders, that setup you have there looks like it can bring up some 3m gliders maybe more 🤔👍😊
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Would you tell me where to find the same motor mount for the 5060 brushless motor? Best Regards & stay safe Alfonso
Nice! One thing that surprises me: I'm puzzled as to why on this plane (same on the E-Flite Air Tractor), they omitted the spray rig detail on this otherwise super-detailed crop duster replica. Nonetheless, it looks like a great plane. As always, thanks much for sharing. Steve
Is this Stuart v2.0... oh wait we are supposed to be more interested in the plane than the reviewer! Definitely a nice model, and even better to have real life review with the good as well as the bad. Hope to see more from you, as you have been the best reviewer from HK (no disrespect to past and present reviewers)
Thank you. On the sound, yes its something we're working on. If the wind is in a certain direction the noise from the road, or, of not that then the noise of the planes on approach to Schiphol airport can be rather loud. We're aware of the issue and have new mics to try now for next time. Stuart.
I've built the VQ bonanza, baron and currently own the twin otter. The agwagon is the fourth and, unfortunately, one of the worse kits I've had. The undercarriage holes did not line up. The rudder/tail wheel was so stiff the servo tray ply formers were flexing requiring stiffening up. Stab not level. Leading edge of one wing sanded more that the other. Wing anti roll pins did not line up. Using an OS 15cc petrol engine and still needed over 200g to balance. Pity as it is a nice looking model. Maybe mine was a Monday one.
Nice looking model but as I've been waiting for the recomended motor to the Stearman for about 5 month now and spareparts for other planes I can't by more from HK until it's sorted.
Hi, its the self-adhesive type which is exclusively used on models made by VQ and it holds up well plus there are a few A4 sized sheets of red and white supplied in the box for repairs to the covering if needed. Stuart.
Wow, right out of the box, need to CA all the joints and the servo mounting points. Not to mention the large amount of lead seen on the firewall to balance the plane. Think I will pass on this one HobbyKing.
Just as a piece of advice I suggest this for ANY ARF, and I've build a lot from some of the best know brands to the least known, they all benefit from this treatment. Adding lead to the nose of a model originally designed for gas/nitro is not uncommon either and as you can see the model took it no problem. Stuart
That looks like it flies way too fast for an Agwagon. Full flaps it slows down a bit but it looks to me from the video the plane is a bit high on the wing loading.
Yes, but that was an unusually large amount of noise for this location actually. But for the audio, we are working on a new mic set-up for better audio in the future. Stuart.
In "electrique" it is really really dommage....i don't like the electric plane, not realistic, not a good song etc... Why all plane RC are in electric propulsion now !???
Glad to see the VQ Agwagon back again! I`ve been waiting!! Nice one Stuart.
More to come!
Expert flight review. Great to have Stuart on the case.
Thanks Dom.
More balsa models like this please! 👍
You got it!
Its a Stu review! Always love your flying.
Many thanks!

Nice job Stuart and the VQ/Hking team. I really quite like that. Didn’t think I needed a crop duster in my collection 🤔...
Thanks 👍
Beautiful model, nice to see more VQ models, great review of a stunning plane, I do like the size of it.
Hello Skynyrd, yes its a great big bird, yet easy to transport and store and yet flies with just a single 6S pack.
Stuart.
Nice looking model S. well done to VQ!
Mr Tom Hunt, thank you sir. Stuart
Loved the info on this plane thank you for the great review. Great flight really looks good in the air with the colour scheme applied.
Thank you, you are very welcome, all part of the service ;)
Stuart.

Cost, complication in production, practicalities, usability etc etc. Some things just can't scale down, work well and remain profitable.
Is this Stuart v2.0... oh wait we are supposed to be more interested in the plane than the reviewer!

The one and only version, just older and more tired than before :D. Stuart.
lovely model and nice review....a directional lavaliere mic/ wireless go mic etc would be good though as voice hard to hear at times.

Has HK finally Given you a Jacket mate???
Awesome lookin plane and great flyinl!!
Could only watch and not hear as I had Floyd up too loud!!
Yes and yes

Great review !
Is it covered with self-adhesive cover or with Oracover ?
Hi, its the self-adhesive type which is exclusively used on models made by VQ and it holds up well plus there are a few A4 sized sheets of red and white supplied in the box for repairs to the covering if needed.
Stuart.
I did not see you display your FAA registration number. or was there a disclaimer I missed?
No FAA number required in the EU.
Hey Stuart, nice plane! Can u provide the total weight of your model with all that additional weight?
Hi, yes total weight of the model in this video with the Turnigy HD 5000mah 6S is 4580g RTF, without battery is approx 3700g.
Stuart.
Great plane, but out of my $$$$ range, great review. Cheers.
Fair enough!

Is dat bij / is that near Abbenes ?
Yes it is. Stuart
That looks like it flies way too fast for an Agwagon. Full flaps it slows down a bit but it looks to me from the video the plane is a bit high on the wing loading.
It for sure has more power than it needs but has the perfect range of speed, remember its a sports scale model. Stuart.
It's Dusty!
Yes it is!
Stuart's twin-brother?
It's Stuart or mirror universe Stuart depending on who you ask
Great Review, rotten luck with the jet engines and burnouts in the back ground.....funny you brought it up though.
Sorry about that
awesome review but holy fuck the back ground people burning out and the jets. just reminds me of being in the military...
Nice looking but it flies to fast.
Its a sports scale model, its typical speed for this kind of model.
