My gosh, I hate that commercial so much. It’s the top reason to install a adblocker. :/. You basically debunked his entire company using a 10 minute video, that’s savage. 👍🏻

His ads drive me insane. Someone did a mock up of them ripping him to bits, it’s hilarious 😅
Seriously playing 4 chords in basic mode is just not playing music
Great video as always, thank you😊

my advice, for this topic, is just transpose the chords into a key, that the person can sing
you will always have the same Nashville numbers, but in the range of the singer

Thank you. This confirmed that that is a scam to sign up to piano disaster and not piano master.

I get 3 key chords but how do I spice it up and get nicer sounding chords to fill in with? (~3 months of playing)
I get tired of playing CEG and its inversions.

LOL believe me your ears getting tired of hearing those triads in their inversions is the BEST thing that can happen. I cannot stress the BEST thing that can happen. Because when you start learning all your chord Extensions like 7th,9ths,11th,13ths, b5th etc. your ears and mind will be able to easily pick them up. Because you laid a concrete foundation. Happy learning👍

My recent videos on voicings might help, or my series on chord symbols! The online course at my website pianofluency.com also dives deeper into this. Most of all I recommend playing cover songs that you like that use more advanced harmony. You can find chord charts for most songs online or in realbooks.

Add 7ths... They are typically played flat 'called a dominant 7th'.😊
