- Why buy an expensive Rivot gun IF you only do a limited amount of aluminum repairs. How about if that expensive rivot gun has to be repaired. Now, what do you do? CHECK OUT thier website at Steckmfg.com.

They work great for something no need to follow procedure. I think the amount of force on each rivet will not consistent.

Well, since aluminum welding is a factory approved procedure I would say they're probably not really morons.
Aluminum plug welding is another approved procedure
$160 tool.. make no sense... supposedly to replace a 50$ rivet gun... I'm rolling my eyes so far up my skull right now...only a fool would buy this.

Quantum, obviously you're a little inexperienced because the riveter for aluminum panels is thousands of dollars. The one we bought is $7,500. I'm willing to spend a couple hundred dollars try something else out what a $50 riveter? No. That's not how it works.
You are trying to compare a std rivet gun, these are for self piercing rivets, required for Al repair on Ford trucks. You dont use steel pop rivets for that repair...
