Another borderline here too, but in my case the music of epica, my desire to reach my potential, my therapist and prescribed drugs (don't mean that some people can't overcome mental ilness without them, but it can help a lot and make it easier when is the right option of medication) and a lot o discipline. You can do it buddy, just keep placing a brick at a time everyday and you will built anything you want. Your imagination is the limit and the time we have left, just don't stop.

Man, yo igual no los había escuchado y está canción junto con Consign to Oblivion me pusieron la piela de gallina. Ahora soy fan de esta banda, la que me hizo conocer el género del metal sinfónico. Αν και η ερώτηση δεν απευθυνόταν σε εμένα, προσωπικά ημουν. Είχα πάει για τους Sabaton κυρίως που εμφανίστηκαν την ίδια ημέρα αλλά ήξερα και τους EPICA και είχα περιέργεια να τους δω από κοντά. Ομολογουμένως πολύ καλοί. Ανυπομονώ να ξαναέρθουν. Μακάρι στα Φεστιβάλ να είναι πάλι την ίδια ημέρα με τους Sabaton

A melodia da música é sensacional, prega na mente, mas a letra me preocupa pois sou religioso. Traz claramente o sentido de nos libertarmos da matrix para assim sermos "senhores do nosso destino", termos o "poder de uma divindade", atingir o nirvana. Ou seja temos aí alusão ao gnosticismo e ao imanentismo. Algo muito complicado para quem se diz Cristão.

Abrir a mente para a realidade do universo, de como ele é e funciona, não tem nada a ver com o fato de ser cristão ou qq outra religião (até pq ser cristão não é pertencer a uma ou outra denominação ou religião. Ser Cristão é praticar o evangelho do Cristo e qq um que faça isso, é por assim dizer, Cristão ou seja, até um ateu pode ser mais cristão que qq auto intitulado como tal desde que ele pratique os ensimantos deixados pelo Mestre Jesus de Nazaré). Algumas religiões/doutrina conseguem não só considerar como entender que ciência e religião podem caminhar juntas e ao contrário do que se diz, ciência não afasta de Deus pelo contrário ela nos aproxima ainda mais dele uma vez que faz-nos entender de maneira real a grandiosidade desse ser. O universo e toda a criação é um emaranhado de equações perfeitas, que só um Ser perfeito poderia ter feito. Mas pra entender isso, como diz a música é preciso sair dos dogmas e sofismas e mergulhar no conhecimento ou seja, abrir a mente.
Os solos do isaac são muito Bons! Ele podia tá na lista de melhores Guitarrista do mundo!!

Isaac's solo on this piece was absolutely a master piece with no doubt. What a song my friend speechless from the begging til the end a lot of cool riffs and the lyrics leaves nothing more to say, just epica is the best band of all times

this is not the typical rock band where is normal to hear a guitar solo, well is not a rock band anyway is symphonic metal, another great solo is on the song "Monopoly On Truth"
From DyU to THP they have added in a lot more guitar solos when needed.

I discovered this song last night at the gig in Manchester. I was overwhelmed by it. The sound and lyrics were clear. I HAD to look it up as soon as I got in. It was so uplifting. This song will bring back special memories of such a precious gig. Everyone was grinning so much during this song. It had a real energy. I LOVE the video. Especially the metaphore of reaching 'past the sky,' to reach the cosmos and attain the most liberated emotional state of a god in the heavens. And love the visual imagery of your cosmic matter/energy accreting from an accretion disk into a burning galaxy of shining energy. So uplifting.

Tomara que eles sigam com o mesmo projeto, considero-os a melhor banda da atualidade de metal. O Sepultura com o "Quadra" chegou para disputar pelo 1° lugar tbm. Megadeth, entregará seu 2 disco com Kiko Loureiro, na certeza que estará no mínimo entre os 3 primeiros. Essas são as bandas que para mim, estão trabalhando forte e bem!
