It's a pity The Cosmic Algorithm and Tear Down Your Walls aren't more popular with the fans and virtually never get performed - both fabulous songs.
Cosmic Algorithm is my favorite song. I have an Epica The Cosmic Algorithm hoodie they released it with Solace System.
I don't think it's a matter of popularity. They have so many songs they have to be very selective with the set list. Popularity isn't the only factor.

Well tbh, both songs took much time to digest for some fans like me. But i like The Funky Algorithm so much though.
The album that really got me into Epica and still one of the very best albums I've ever heard ! The title track, Once Upon A Nightmare are timeless masterpieces, and I don't think I'll ever get enough of A Phantasmic Parade 😍

The Holographic Principle song is the best epic song Mark Jansen made, so far, by my opinion. So unexpected turns, so beautiful composition.

A masterpiece of an album. Up there with the best metal albums of all time imo. The Solace System accompanying EP is also just as good.
Once Upon a Nightmare is one of the greatest songs ever created, in my opinion. And live performances of it always give me the chills. It's beyond beautiful!

Ah, amazing record! One of the albums I play frequently, in the past years since it was released. It might be too full and overambitious, as the band says nowadays, but that's what I love about it. It's music with lots of flavor, and a lot to uncover, more to hear and appreciate. Truly a great successor to "The Quantum Enigma," and a perfect continuation of the story and themes that have been presented. Hope that album is next to be uploaded, with its five bonus tracks included. 🤞🏻 Thanks, you guys! 😁🙏🏼

My no 1 Go-to album from Epica after "Design your Universe"
First listened to it in 2016 and have been hooked ever since.
Architect of Light, Fight Your Demons and Wheel of Destiny should also be in this album. Those are great songs and they're always forgotten. Anyways, The Solace System is awesome and greater than a lot of standart albuns from other bands. Epica rules! 🇧🇷

Design your universe and Requiem for the Indifferent are the best albums in my opinion. I like the strait forward type albums more than the latest albums. The last album was not great for my taste. Maybe i am just more to the older stuff.
Requiem for the Indifferent is probably my favorite Epica album. But I don't see how it's straightforward since it's their most progressive album.
