      Random Fun Fact Also: Did you know that most shots are actually misfired? And if it does hit the person, it’s likely not a Vital Organ? Even if it didn’t hit one, it’s very serious, but still.

      Well I don’t know much, but I heard one thing. I’m not sure if it’s 100% true, but hey.
      If it’s not crucial, don’t pull whatever stabbed you YET. You NEED to get it out soon, but taking it out actually will put you more at risk without proper medical people.
      Not only would your hands be too shaky and you might stab something else while trying to pull it out, also the blood. It would greatly increase blood loss.
      I MAY BE WRONG THOUGH.
      Also, Fun Fact to add to possibly wrong things: Don’t try to ever suck out the venom of a snake bite. Ever. It just won’t work. Plus, moving so much, and trying to get it out quickly, will make it worse. You panic, meaning your heart beats faster, meaning the venom spreads quickly. Just stay calm and get EMS. :P

    My buddy is ex UK army.
    He survived a 7.62 shot to the head... He's totally fine mentally, just blind in one eye. The bullet came out near his ear. He now has a plate in his head. They found the bullet in the padding in his helmet, So he has the bullet.
    After getting shot he stumbled and stood on a landmine which removed his leg almost up to the knee.
    He has more issues with the leg.

    So... The AR-15 is not actually an assault rifle, an assault rifle is a fully automatic military rifle; such weapons have been banned in the United States of America since the assault weapons ban of 1986, and require expensive licensing to obtain currently. The AR-15 is the semiautomatic variant of the M-4 standard issue military rifle, the M-4 does have a select fire safety which by definition makes the M-4 an assault rifle due to it being capable of a fully automatic rate of fire.
    Fully automatic: Holding the trigger back will result in multiple rounds of ammunition being fired until either the trigger is released or the rifle runs out of loaded ammunition.
    Semiautomatic: One trigger pull allows one single round to be fired, in order to fire again the trigger must be released and depressed again for the follow-up round to be fired.
    Y'all got to get someone who actually knows what they're talking about before you release this. The news uses the inaccurate term to fear monger the populace.

    • @Evisemar
      @Evisemar Рік тому +2

      Based on many testimonies that is both true AND false. It all depends on where the bullet hits, where or if it exits, the caliber and MANY personal factors such as adrenaline and dopamine levels, mental state, etc. In some circumstances, yes it can be a surreal experience where you see a bullet rip through your arm but not even feel it. In others you can be shot in the gut and crumble over screaming because it hurts so bad. Other times you can also be hit in the gut and simply feel an immense amount of pressure like someone set a 30 pound weight on your stomach but no pain.

      Well you could just be a civilian walking down the street minding your own business and a ruffian could just want to antagonize you for no reason like what just happened to me and know I have to look this up cause I walked down the street in my own neighborhood.

    How can a bullet turn its direction while inside the body? Would it not just puncture straight through and damage the nearby tissue and organs? I want to know how that can happen and what type of bullet would be capable of doing such damage?

    • @smallpenis266
      @smallpenis266 2 роки тому

      I mean bullets can yaw and fragment especial at higher velocities though that would essentially only apply to fun bullets as a hollow point would expand maybe fragment but cases like that i think are a rare occurrence

    • @Evisemar
      @Evisemar Рік тому

      The more energy a bullet dissipates into the body the more likely the trajectory is to be affected by external objects. Example. A rifle round being shot through a line of melons. The first melon hit will be a fairly straight forward through and through, minimal deviation because it still retains the majority of its kinetic energy going through. The less it has, the more effect the subsequent melons have on it which is why #2 it may enter center as well, but exit slightly higher. Then #3 it enters high of center and exits near top.
      The bullets that have lower velocities or expansion properties such as hollow points are the ones more likely to change direction inside the body as it becomes more affected by things such as skimming off bones, harder tissues like muscle, etc. .22 at close range specifically are notorious for "ricocheting" inside the body because they don't have enough energy to go through and through. As well as any other bullet up to a .45 if its further away say 50+ yards.

    • @obi-wankenobi1750
      @obi-wankenobi1750 Рік тому

      Rotational stability is what makes a bullet travel straight through the air. As soon as it gets destabilized it can veer off in any direction (like when it hits a bone or non-uniform muscle tissue).

    I hope this helps someone with what I am about to say (I AM NOT A DOCTER I AM SPEACKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) so I was stupid and reloaded a 38spl cartridge with powder and set it off in a vice as I was hitting the primer the bullet rotated in the vise and went off aiming straight at my leg. Note when I reloaded it I put in a rubber bullet so idk if damage will be different with a fmj , but when it went in my adrenaline immediately kicked in I didn't feel any pain till I looked down as say blood dripping from my inner thigh , again note that I didnot hit my artery as if I did my blood would be pumping out this was a slow bleed, once I realized what had happened I immediately cleaned the would and checked for any debree I could remove there was none so I cleaned it then put iodine on the wound and put on iodine ointment on a plaster and aplied it , now because it was in my leg I was able to raise it above my head , try raise your injury to slow down the bleeding I would have to replace the plaster every 4-5 hours but if you can try DO NOT MOVE and the reason why I say that is because if it stops bleeding it means that your wound has started to clot now even a very slight movement can cause that to dislodge and cause it to start bleeding . Now at this point try make it to the docter if you can however in my case we just left it I would be very careful when moving and replace the plaster in the morning before work then replace after my shower before I go to bed ( again note I am not a docter ) but for me to stop any cause of infection I would spray around the wound with alcohol I would spay my hands and when the scab had formed I would clean that as well use proper surgical spirits if this ever happens to you . Take vitamins like vitamin d and c to boost the immune system if you can't get that try to eat vitamin c rich foods like oranges pineapples and lemons over all it took my leg just under a month the fully recover I never went to the doctor however if this does happen always go as a safety precaution I just hope that if someone is in a extreme desperate situation they can probably use my method (AGAIN I AM NOT A DOCTOR SO I AM NOT TO BE BLAMED IF ANYTHIMG DOES HAPPEN TO YOU )
