    I have never followed any diet. I am aware that I have not been eating well chucks of my life mostly due to depression and anxiety, but as I get "older" I also just pay more intention on what my body wants, needs, craves. Some part of my "diet" is still habit and there are things I'd ideally change a little, but mostly I'm just proud that I'm capable of eating mostly well. :)

    Hey Nikki, I loved this video and have been a long time viewer. Loved your chat about eating traditionally. I suffered from miscarriages too and changed my diet to this same structure too and was able to take a lot of unneeded stress in my life and I got pregnant without even “trying” after that. My son just turned 1 a couple weeks ago and I’ve stashed lots of frozen breast milk so I’m weaning now and hoping to have another one soon Lord willing. Love the book Nourishing Traditions too! And the other ones on fats, broth and children. We share a lot of the same views so I enjoyed your little chat too. It’s crazy how much this processed world is so normal now but our ancestors thrived traditionally. I agree it’s not always a one size fits all but I’ve found success and I too, feel better mentally, physically, etc eating this way and living a more from scratch life. It’s simpler too and ultimately saves money cause you really don’t need too much. Lastly I wanted to encourage you that the Lord knows the desires of your heart and I hope you are blessed with another healthy pregnancy too. Thanks for sharing ❤️

    I’m 24 minutes in and I found your whole health chat so interesting and informative… I’m really curious if there are certain foods you eat/things you do to promote regular periods, reduction of PMS symptoms, etc… I have digestive issues and deal with irregular and painful periods. I feel like having a good gut-healing diet is the key but I’m still learning what that looks like. I just read something about nuts and seeds actually not being helpful for women in the sense they encourage an overproduction of estrogen? Idk how true that is, I need to do the research, but if you have any insight into that whole arena of women’s health specifically where it relates to menstrual cycles I’d love a video on it!!

If anything, it's just interesting to know and learn about. :) Oh, and human design gives a TON of information- not just your ideal diet/eating style. That's just a tiny part of it. I think you would enjoy learning all of it has to offer.

    Hi Nikki, i love this video and how you describe your diet. I love it! That's how I eat too. I love fruits so much, but since my childhood I don't can eat citrus fruits. But lately my body chanced so much, that I can't eat any fruits at all. I break out in hives from all that fruit acid and citrus acid. Soo many doktors tell you...fruit is great for your diet. Yeah it's right, but not for me. 😂 I follow my heart and what my body tell's me is right for my diet. Greetings from Germany. 😘

    • @NikkiPhillippi
      @NikkiPhillippi  2 роки тому

      Isn’t that interesting!!!? Yes! Follow your body and gut! I’m so glad you’ve discovered what causes the hives! Even tho that’s a bummer it’s cool you know exactly what to avoid!

    • @katej.1659
      @katej.1659 2 роки тому

      Thank you so soo much for your answer! 😍 Yes, so interesting and such a huge bummer. I love making smoothies. And now I can't anymore. My last breakout in hives because of fruit was actually so much more than that and it was scary . I got blisters under my tongue, my airways got tight and than the hives around my neck. All of that because of a hand full of grapes. It scared me so much that I cut out fruits in any form from my diet. And have meds for it. I miss my smoothies and fresh fruits, but my health is more worth than what any doctor tells you about how good fruits are for your diet. Have a nice day. 😃Love Kate.

Got some seed oils in today ey?" 😂
