At first glance of your title, I was for sure this bloke is going to blast and pick apart the score from Chernobyl. I apologize after watching your review you were spot on. The sound track was so spot on in tone and texture. You provided marvelous insight and even added to details about her production I was not aware of until after watching this.
Thank you for those comments Jeromy. Indeed, I read Jonathan Broxton's review on Movie Music UK and I thought Hildur's work on Chernobyl was gonna be a total car wreck. It's kinda like how horror scores get treated with disdain. You know? The dissonance, uncomfortable sound textures and clusters. Yet innovations can occur. Actually, I haven't seen the Chernobyl series so far, but I am very eager to. I think an open mind helps with analyzing a soundtrack like this. So happy you enjoyed the video.

The only people I've seen failing to process non-English names are Americans. They can butcher them with a poker face as if any attempt will make the point across. It could've been Hildur Gundundundun. It's actually incredible. They can be masters of their craft and still don't even think about having to look up pronounciation before making a video. It's almost as if their brains have this micro-aneurism when coming across non-English names.
I really enjoyed the soundtrack for this show. Nice review for the soundtrack.
Thank you.
