hey i tried plugging in my earphones into the back of the monitor headphone jack but no sound came out. I bought one refurbished off ebay. Is this supposed to defective then? Although when i plug into the back of my PC or front of my PC headphone jacks it seems to work
Ik I’m 3 years late but I was wondering the dimensions (length and height) because I need to see if it will fit where I want to put it would be helpful!
I wish I was this first before tryna set it up myself because I somehow got the stand ever so gently stuck while putting it in the monitor and now it protrudes a bit but it hasn't fell off the stand so I guess I'm good lol
would this monitor be usefull to a graphic designer or an architect? I just wanted to see if rectangles or lines remain square and straight on the curved panel. Thank you for this review
I assume you are concerned about distortion. I really do not know, What I can say is that I game and edit videos on mine and I do not even notice the curving. By far the biggest thing for me is the increased size from my 24 inch
Just picked one up myself couple days ago same deal. Worth it for me, playing Xbox on this is a big step up from a slightly older model 32” flat screen. Figure I will get my moneys worth between office and gaming uses. Most reviews are pretty good too from what I’ve seen
Im using an Xbox Series X with this monitor, any chance you could give me some tips on how to get the picture better looking? Im only using an HDMI at the moment. Should I be using a different cable? Are my settings correct? HELP PLZ LOL
I bought this, connected the HDMI cable to my computer, connected the power cable plugged it in and pushed the button in back and -- nothing happened. Do I need software or a driver for this thing? How do I get a picture on it?
@@Reviewsandmore I used the one that came in the box with the monitor. Tried changing the cable around -- nothing -- the monitor is blank. Support tried to help, but we got nowhere, so it's on its way to Samsung HQ to be looked at. I think I got a dud.
MSI has some better options these days at the $200 mark with way higher refresh rates. This was a good monitor and I still use it, but since the pandy stopped being a huge concern a lot of these items have dropped in price or improved in ability.

Wow. My mount is being a bitch to me. Yours matched with the back of the monitor so easily. Once I put the tabs in there is no way for the mount to sit flush in order to shoot those 2 screws the bottom of everything to secure the mount. It’s like the plastic on the back of the monitor doesn’t match the mount. This is the second walk through I’ve seen. It looks soooo easy in your video but won’t sit flat for me. Anyone else have this problem?
@@Reviewsandmore well the screws were already in position. I took them out. It seems to me that on the monitor there are two ridges on the left and right side. I’m thinking where the obstruction is there. Maybe the mount plate isn’t made for the tv’s mount? It seems to keep the mount from laying flush to the back of the tv.
@@Reviewsandmore sorry if I said tv mount. I was just using the monitors hardware. Figured it out though. I was pushing the tabs all the way in then trying to go flush with the monitors base. Wasn’t working. What I did was only push the tabs half way in then push the mount flush with the monitors back. Then give a shove to the mount upwards and the tabs went further in and everything lined up at that point to put the screws in. The instructions are lacking a bit where it comes to the mount. Looked so easy on a couple different videos. Couldn’t figure how it wasn’t working for me. Thanks for the quick replies!
Is this monitor good enough for casual game ? like (RDR 2, CYBERPUNK, RE VILLAGE) in 1080p ?? i was thinking to get this monitor and stuck between this type and viewsonic VX3276-MHD-3, which one is better in ur oppinion ?

Hi, the link you posted on Sam's Club is for 60 Hz model. I went to get it and it shows 60Hz. You sure is 75 Hz.
Thanks for this!
My pleasure!
Honestly that look sharp at 1080p for 32inch

Do you have to connect to a laptop/tv or are you able to use the monitor just by itself
It is a monitor so it has not internal software, and no cable hookups. So you have to have a hdmi or similar cable hooked up to something for media.
@@Reviewsandmore like what for example
@@Reviewsandmore i dont have a pc i can connect it to so what should i use to do so
Have you found something to connect it to and if so what did you use
how do you find it after a year?
and pros and cons?
Been great for me so far, looks really good.
i can sound out of the monitor or the laptop. any ideas?
The monitor has no speakers, your laptop not having sound is strange.
Isn't there supposed to be sound coming out of the monitor?
no, there are no integrated speakers
Can you connect speakers to the monitor
Easily, yes.
I connected my ps4 and the audio from the game doesn’t pick up to the monitor, what should I do?
the monitor does not have speakers

no it should just be plug and play. Sometimes computers have more than one HDMI out, just make sure you are using the right one.

yes, but the 1070 can outpace the 75 hz refresh rate on a lot of 1080p games
