I looked at a nice auto locker at some point (i don't remember from which country Ukraine or Russia) but they didn't respond even on WhatsApp...pretty complicated to do stuff with the current situation. If you have some details i might be interested. Although it's not a priority, i might look into modifying it myself.
Yes, the plug was already behind the dome lights in the ceiling. I just took the lights out and inserted the mirror wire and plugged the plug in. I was a bit amazed that the plug was there as my forester is a EUDM type and usually only USDM have electronic mirrors.
Hi, i tried on our gate and couldn't make it work. Bow that you ask, it might be that the US frequencies that this works on is different than the European gate frequencies. I still hope to get it working some day, but i don't have any other gate to try on. The compass and auto-dimming are still very nice features even if the homelink doesn't work.
