Fighting Over Sabina: Speaker Wetangula suspends seven MPs after chaos erupt in National Assembly

- Seven members of parliament, majority from Azimio la Umoja coalition were Thursday afternoon ejected out of the national assembly following a standoff over the replacement of nominated lawmaker Sabina Chege sought by the opposition coalition. Chege however, got temporary reprieve after house speaker Moses Wetangula said he could not breach a court order, attracting opposition from Azimio MPs who accused the speaker of taking sides in the matter.
Kenya only had one Speaker and that was Kenneth Marende.

With the challenges facing this nation I wonder whether we have the right people in the August house. We need sober leaders who understand where we are as nation and where we need to go and how. The actions of our politicians make me miss Late President Kibaki . He took over a depleted nation, did not engage in blame game and steered this our great nation to prospey. This was because he focused and knew why needed to be done. On his demise his detractors could not hide their admiration for his efforts to pull this country from the drain. What is happening in parliament is not right we need mature leadership from our politicians. We need role models. we need patriots and nationalists not just politicians busy shouting at each other and get paid for it.
Kenyans watch out before it is too late........stop blackmailing and undermining your own fresh and blood in the name of money.Time comes when power of money is no more.God bless you my sisters and brothers
