    I'm new to booktube and I truly did not realize the amount of work that goes into maintaining a channel. It has been a fun learning experience and I hope to keep going. Thank you so much for your transparency, Faith! Love your content! 🫶✨💕

    I think the why is very important. I always used to get so frustrated when my videos didn’t get views or I got any subs. I put so much effort into videos only to get brunt out and not want to make videos. I then realized I need to make videos for me and no one else. Once it became sub again for me I made videos and didn’t care about my numbers going up or down. Well I got over 300 subs in the last few months alone just by being me and having fun!

    Thanks for being honest about your experience! I would second a lot of your tips and tricks. Although, often times, I felt discouraged when I tried to do the "trend" idea and the video went nowhere, so it's not always going to work for every video. Love your channel and energy and you sharing your thoughts! 💕

    I've been on youtube for years on my other channels but only a day on my Booktube channel, which is the one I am currently own. I'm anxious to start making videos, which I can only do on Saturdays, but I plan on doing bulk amounts so I can have videos for a couple of weeks without fretting if I miss a Saturday. Anyway, thank you for this video, I've learned a lot and plan on incorporating it into my channel.

    This video was super helpful, and I wish more booktubers did something like this. I have been really tosing up the idea of making a booktube channel myself, however I live in New Zealand so we are just heading into spring while its the start of fall basically everywhere else. Not sure what I could do for the seasonal content the same. But this was really helpful for the technical side of things.

    Thank you so much for making this! It is incredibly helpful. I have my channel, but it’s hard when you like too many things and just end up making different videos just because you like them but the algorithms hate that. I’d like to grow but I’ve always been a bit of a mess when it comes to picking just one thing/label and abiding by it for what seems like “forever”.

    • @faithsreadingthings
      @faithsreadingthings  2 роки тому +1

    Hi, thanks for the tips. I'm pretty new here, not sure if I'm qualified as a book tuber as I wanted to share a lot of things but books are the main thing. Creating content is not easy and it needs strong dedication plus, the chosen niche should be something you really love aka your passion. To all small UA-camrs out there, good luck!

      Try not to compare yourself to others (I know it’s hard) cause then it takes the fun away from it all. Really try to prioritize your time. If you notice your on your phone more after work maybe put it down for a while or schedule out your days/weeks in a way where you can work more efficiently to create time to read(:
