- Here is a song i wrote of how I feel right now about the music industry and everything that comes with it. Sometimes life knocks you down, but you have to get right back up. Your support means more than the world to me. Thank you so much for watching and sharing.

It's not only music industry, it's industry, it's our economic and social system. It's wrong for us, for nature, for the whole planet. This song fits perfectly to the signs of this fast time which leaves humanity helplessly behind.

Music industry is full of greedy people who want to use people to get rich.
There are of course decent people there also. Find them or go your own way.
Don't ever doubt your singing or writing skills.
I've seen and heard them all. You have extreme talent and most important of all, you are a brilliant, friendly girl, with the heart in the right place.
You have all the time in the world. You will eventually break through worldwide with your music, if you keep on trying. 100% sure on that.
I suffer from depression, some days it is completely unbearable, but no matter how my day is going, I hear Connie sing and I immediately get a smile on my face. She is just so amazingly talented. I love you Connie, never give up on your dreams no matter what the may be.
You might feel lost Connie but you are not, we are here by your side and we will try to be your light. I know for sure you will find your way, you are an amazing artist, just keep learning about your art 'cause we never will know enough, work hard, take time to enjoy yourself, don't take to much time on think about what people think about you, don't be scared to be unliked, don't be scared to make mistakes, don't be scared to try new things, silly things, crazy things, ridiculous things, just believe in yourself 'cause we believe in you :)

Hang in there, Miss Talbot. You appear to possess the mature attitude and mental stability needed to persevere no matter what the world may attempt to burden you with. After working in the sound and recording industry for over 50 years now, I have witnessed a few really good musical artists have their dreams stepped on by greedy producers and managers who did not care about the singer personally. They only cared about their "bottom line" and what was given to them. Try to not fret over such matters because someone that is as genuine, talented, and endearing as you are will always come out on top in the end. Do not let them get the better of you, because you are a better person than all of them! Good luck to you through out your life, and, please, continue to grace all of us music lovers with your wonderful voice and unmatched writing talent!!

I´ve been listening to Connie since she was little, year 2009, and I will never give her up. I think if Connie stopped singing I would literally die or something like that, so please Connie: not just for your fans but for music, keep on singing! Even though the industry is a dark place... and that´ s why you´ re out of it in my opinion! Perhaps where you are is not a bad place to be (not as bad as you suppose)...
More and more artists these days are avoiding the music industry and promoting their music all on their own. And I think that's a good thing. Been following Connie since the beginning and was always a little concerned that the music industry might swallow her up and spit her out... Kind of like tossing a cute little innocent gold fish into a shark tank. I gather from the lyrics that she's just seen through the illusion of it all, and is hurting. But I believe there's a silver lining.... An old Chinese proverb goes something like "Wait 30 days after a disappointment and it becomes a blessing. i.e. Maybe it's actually a blessing in disguise. IMHO this song is the best thing I've heard from her in a while. By best I mean not her vocal quality which has always been stellar, but more about how this song really moved me because she's singing about a real life experience she went through. Really feeling the real Connie in this one! Straight from her heart.

I know many artists have been exploited by greedy managers or agents, and I know it hurts, especially when you have trusted them. Find someone you trust, and publish your music yourself. I just imagine the music business is a cutthroat industry. People who have mediocre talent succeed because of who they know, the breaks they get and what they are willing to concede, while people with real talent have a difficult time making it because they want to succeed on the merits of their talent. Keep trying. Sooner or later you'll win through! Your voice is so pure and pitch perfect and your control is phenomenal. No need for auto-tune like so many of the "famous" singers today.
