Dude... I am amazed. This was a great video, packed with all the necessary info with great content and explanation. I would definitely watch all the videos you put out. I hope that you don't get discouraged with the views, subscription and all the madness of youtube alogrithim and continue puting out videos like this. My only suggestion would be better lighting. Great job.
Thank you very much for such a nice and elaborative lecture. Could you plz tell how alcohol is causing sidroblastic anemia as it is a stimulant of delta aminolevulenic acid along with barbiturates and smoking. So if the activity of this enzyme increases in some susceptible individual who is lacking the next enzymes in the pathway than it is understandable but if no enzyme deficiency in next steps than how alcohol causes sidroblastic anemia. Thank you. Regards
Dr Khan "Ethanol is the most frequent cause of toxin-induced sideroblastic anemia (Larkin et al, 1984; Lindenbaum et al, 1980). The complication is uncommon, but the use (and misuse) of the agent is widespread. Ethanol probably causes sideroblastic anemia by two mechanisms: direct antagonism to pyridoxal phosphate and/or associated dietary deficiency of this compound (McColl et al, 1980)."
Thank you you much! You saved me from a 170 pages scary power point presentation
